Favourite HBO 24/7 Moments
Hi Guys,
I’m a huge fan of HBO’s 24/7 and was recently watching my favourite series, which is Mayweather v Moseley. The reasons for rating this series above all the rest is because it introduced new characters (other then Mayweather & Co) such as Nazeem Richardson etc who stood out as a personality, whereas in other fights you wouldn’t give any recognition to the trainers/camps of Mayweather’s opponents.
Anyway, I want to know what your favourite 24/7 MOMENT is?
I’ll start off proceedings. Mayweather-Moseley Episode 3.
Mayweather is boasting about his 7 man strong security team and then we’re introduced to Moseley’s 1 man army. Awesome moment
For those who haven’t seen it….. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2LYpzv37CA ..forward to 10:15.
(BTW I predict Elliot Ness to take all of Mayweathers security team )

The bit were Team Manny all showed their meteor tattoos and did a team fist touch together.
The bit were Manny sang a lovely song.
The bit were Roach and Ariza said it was Manny's best camp ever.
But seriously, the bit were Mayweather and co ripped the back out of Marquez for drinkin his own personal Iron Bru

Amir Khan saying he changed toothpaste because the one he had been using had ingrediants that can be found in rat poison.
Dont think it was 24/7 though.

I always enjoy the moments when Floyd Mayweather tells us how much money he has or how much some of his possessions were worth, just a pity such moments happen all so infrequently.

Or when he counts his $100 bills in front of the camera.
I also like it when all his mates call him champ and pat him on the back for being so cool and tough.

I loved the bit after he fought with his dad and him and 50cent sat on the edge of a bed with a big block of money agaist their ears as if it was a phone and 50 said "man yo gatta make up wit ya fadda man" and Floyd said something in return. Add to the fact HBO played some sad music to add to the moment.
Great stuff

I enjoyed the bit when Mayweather thoughtfully set up a video link to speak to US troops stationed in Afghanistan. Ya know, to boost morale.
He then proceeded to talk non-stop about his money / flashy lifestyle, show them round his fabulously decadent house, and parade his gorgeous trophy girlfriend across the screen. All the while, the soldiers, who had likely not seen their partners in months, were sat in a cramped tent, in a punishing climate, miles from home, in the middle of a ferocious warzone.
This just sums Mayweather up. Even when he is trying to be 'charitable' or 'decent' he still can't help but be painfully tactless and boorish
