Yes the Linear Guild are the evil counterparts to the Order of the Stick.

They consist of Nale (Elan's twin)
Sabine who is Haley's rival
Thog who is a half orc barbarian
Zz'dtri a Dark Elf Sorcerer
and then a few others that have come and gone.

Because back when it came out it was over played and ruined as was Nothing else matters, the Black Album was the start of the decline of Metallica and most Thrash metal bands saw the mainstream success they got and started to release similar crappy ballad type albums, oh and what Beer said
