- Samir Handanovic

Vincent Kompany
Neven Subotic

Jeremy Toulalan
Bastian Schweinsteiger
Aleksandar Kolarov
Wesley Sneijder
Carlos Tevez
Antonio Di NataleHandanovic
Howedes - Kompany - Subotic
Maggio - Toulalan - Schweinsteiger - Kolarov
Sneijder
Tevez - Di Natale
Subs: Gabriel, Pablo Zabaleta, Michael Essien, Paolo De Ceglie, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Marek Hamsik, Edin Dzeko
Managers note: The season starts here, LSN will be as tough as ever but I want us to stick to our style, keeping possession and dictating the play. Ozil and co are superb players on the ball but limited without it, so if we stick to our task we can win today.
Handanovic - command your area, stay big for 1 on 1's, watch for long range shots.
Howedes/Kompany/Subotic - first game together but you all play/have played in the Bundesliga so I expect strong communication throughout. Force Cavani deep where he is less of a threat. Ozil and Sanchez will break forward from deep, track their runs, read the game well and use your strength to force them off the ball.
Maggio/Kolarov - work the flanks, track the wingers back but also look to get forward to support the forwards. When in possession get forward, but without the ball you must get back. Form a midfield 4 but if we're under pressure drop back to form a defensive 5.
Toulalan/Schweinsteiger - Toulalan the DM, sit infront of the defence, be aware of where Ozil is at all times, fill in for either wingback if they are caught up the pitch. When in possession, be sensible and pass it around. Schweinsteiger, the CM, be the brain of the team, be the link from defence to attack, control the midfield with Toulalan and Sneijder and ensure the LSN midfielders are chasing shadows for 90 minutes.
Sneijder - playing a free role today between midfield and attack, chances are LSN will deploy Busquets as a DM to keep you under wraps, if this is the case drop deeper to make him track you and leave space in behind. When on the ball, look for the strikers making runs, look for Tevez coming short and Di Natale trying to lose the defender to get into space in the area.
Tevez/Di Natale - look to link up, Di Natale attempt to lose your marker by spinning off into space, shoot on sight and be your wily self. Tevez, drop deep sometimes to provide an alternate threat and also to leave space for Di Natale to run into should the CB follow you. When the ball is wide, get into the area with Di Natale to provide an extra target.
Subs at 75 mins;
If winning: Zabaleta, De Ceglie and Dzeko on; Howedes, Sneijder and Di Natale off. Go to a 4-4-1-1, Zabaleta RB, Kolarov LB. De Ceglie LM, Maggio RM. Tevez drops to SS and Dzeko the CF. Look to counter attack.
If drawing: Hamsik, Dzeko and De Ceglie on; Sneijder, Di Natale and Kolarov off. Same formation but fresh legs and fresh ideas. Hamsik AM, Dzeko CF and De Ceglie LWB.
If losing: Oxlade-Chamberlain, Hamsik and Dzeko on; Kolarov, Schweinsteiger and Howedes off. Go 2-3-2-3, Oxlade-Chamberlain LWB, Hamsik another AM and Dzeko a third striker. Go for it, risking the counter attack.

The Charity Shield
AC ALSOAM vs The London Silly Nannies
-------------------Ochoa
--------Sakho------Pepe------Caceres
Ramires----Busquets----Moutinho----Mathieu
-------Sanchez----------------Ozil
-------------------Cavani
Team talk:
This is effectively a friendly and so I want to test a new system that I think suits you guys. Go out, retain the football and use the individual flair and attacking talent to get the goals. Attack them and be brave and adventurous.
Ochoa – Simple keeping, take the pressure off with catches at set pieces and organise the guys ahead of you.
Sakho/Caceres – You’re the outside CBs so I want you to stay on the edge and watch the striker’s movement and the wingers coming inside. Mark the zone and stamp out the threat when they come your way. Possession game today, so play it short.
Pepe – You’re a nasty man, so anchor the defence and take responsibility for the centre. They may come with two strikers so mark the zone and watch their movement and instruct the others.
Ramires/Mathieu – A duel role today in that I want you to work in defence and attack. In defence track back and follow their wingers, and jockey them off the ball. In attack provide the natural width and link with the midfield. Get the ball to the CMs and AMs and be sure to give them an advanced wide option if the middle is stifled. Overlap them where you can.
Busquets – Stay in front of the back three and seek to break up play and intercept the ball. If a midfielder breaks follow him and stay tight. On the ball, keep it simple and always be available for the pass and get us moving forwards again.
Moutinho – Be a little more advanced than Busquets but seek to play as a deep lying playmaker. Be available in the middle all the time and look to move it forward. Be patient and pick the right passes.
Sanchez/Ozil – Both of you are positioned between the lines of their midfield and defence, and you both have licence to drift inside and outside on your side. Transition the ball to Cavani or take it on yourself, but our attacks will come through you both. This is the area of the pitch that we want to take chances so if you see a through pass, go for it, and if it opens up for a shot, hit it.
Cavani – Be the spearhead and move around for the passers behind you, giving them angles for through balls or crosses. You have the ability to fashion shots by yourself, so on the ball try and make the opportunities.
Pens: Ozil
FKs: Ozil/Moutinho
Corners: Ozil
If winning on 80mins, Gonalons on for Moutinho and sit back. Ramires/Mathieu to both drop back and stifle.

Re: Euro Division Charity Shield
AC ALSOAM 2-1 London Silly Nannies
Kolarov=======Moutinho
Di Natale
Both teams had a similar formation but I feel that ALSOAM executed it better with the two men upfront it gave them more of a goal threat and the players around them worked well in what they were doing. When the two midfields went up against each other the ALSOAM lot were a lot stronger and had more control of the midfield. I would have played Sanchez and Ozil next to Cavani in a 3 man attack rather then just behind him because Ramires and Mathieu had the wide positions covered well. If Nannies can improve on their defence they have a good chance of winning games that are close.

ALSOAM 3 LSD 2
Both teams experimenting with new formations but I feel ALSOAM were more compact than LSD. I think that Ramires plays better in a more central role and he is wasted on the wings. Also Ozil would be more effective playing on the right of Cavani as he can cut in from the right onto his stronger left foot and can vary his passes more. Also Pepe is a nasty man and gets sent off.

AC ALSOAM 2-1 LSN
Tevez, Hamsik --- Cavani
I think ALSOAM just execute the system better today. With LSN, I would personally switch Sanchez and Ozil, so they are cutting inside, with the wing backs on the overlap, because this would cause ALSOAM problems. However ALSOAM just have a little more cutting edge in attack, and win this game for me

Re: Euro Division Charity Shield
AC ALSO AM 0-0 LSN
Not a game for the faint of heart as both teams seem to be built to slug it out like a pair of heavyweights going 12 rounds rather than free flowing football. Seems for both teams the aim is not to allow the other to play which in turn results in a game of chess where both sides cagily edge forward only to be met by the brick wall of the other. I would have plumped for LSN if they'd have kept Benzema and I think losing him will backfire as the season gets underway as I can't see Cavani having the same impact this time round.

AC ALSOAM 1-0 LSN
Tevez
Both very attacking formations, but I feel LSN's is a little too makeshift. I much prefer Ramiries in the centre of the field. I think of the two formations, AC have the team that make it work. I think LSN should strongly look at a 4-3-2-1 formation, which would have won them the game.

AC ALSOAM 1 - 0 LSN
TeveZ
A tough game to call. With similar set ups, AC just edge it IMO. They look more comfortable and have been put together to play this formation. Not to take anything anyway from LSN. They have a very strong team and will challenge AC for the title this year.
If they played with Sanchez, Ozil, Cavani in attacking midfield, with a striker infront of them I believe the outcome of the game would of been different. Personally don't see Cavani as lone striker.
