How many PPV's will sell tomorrow
What numbers do you think the Khan vs McCloskey fight will sell on Primetime?
I'm not sure what Khan's average PPV figures were on Sky but will be substantially less.
Although I think it's a nothing fight and filler before the Bradley fight (nothing wrong with that, it's common to have an easy then hard fight and so on), i'm shocked at how little publicity this fight is getting.
I really think they should have tried to get Ortiz to fight him as would have made more noise. Also when an occasional fan asks who someone is, if they're foreign that could at least help explain why they haven't heard of them but when they are British and still not heard of them, it gives the general public impression, he really is a nobody (note my view).

I thought Sky were featuring it pretty heavily until the row broke out. Maybe not Haye v Harrison levels but still giving it a fair bit of tv time.
It was never going to garner a great deal of interest outside the U.K. Think that was accepted.

I'd even forgot that it was on tomorrow.
Khan's early SKY PPV's did OK, his later ones, especially after Prescott, did awful numbers. Khan claimed it was all down to racist Britain and had nothing to do with the terrible standard of opposition. He then upped sticks to the US in a massive huff. Expect a similar reaction after tomorrow.

He can't blame anyone though, it's on Primetime, I was asking some of my mates at work who have Sky Digital if they have heard of Primetime noone had! Only the hardcore boxing and Khan fans will buy it, and half of them will steer clear because it isn't worth the £15...

Jukebox Prescott was his first one and apparently did less than 50,000 which is pretty poor. Think Fagan after that only did respectable figures because it was propped up by Manny Oscar on the same night

Not at all, plenty of muppets get suckered into fights, (Haye V Harrison?)

yeah that's right. Didn't Khan sign some ridiculous 21 fight PPV deal with SKY only to lose straight away.

50,000 isn't awful in Britain... Hatton Mayweather only did slightly better than that, granted that that fight was on at 2 AM but still... (It hit like 1.5 Mil in America)
