Just heard this from Biathlon World "Jaroslav Soukup of the Czech Republic, who won a Bronze medal at the 2012 IBU World Championships was seriously injured in a cycling accident today, while at a training camp in Slovenia. He suffered multiple injuries to his arm, forearm, shoulder and lower back and faces surgery and months of rehabilitation. Soukup will likely miss the entire season. We wish him a speedy recovery." Quite a blow to him, and his team mates - all the best for his speedy recovery from me too!

Update - Jaroslav Soukup has apparently had a second operation; although improving, he will obviously need a long time to make a full recovery.
