Re: Goldberg contract
Ryback v Goldberg at mania?
Surely Ryback will be near his undefeated record by then? Could say hes come back to make sure nobody beats his undefeated streak and has come to put an end to it.
Could start it at the Rumble by having Ryback clearing house then Goldberg coming out and them two just going at it and eventually both going over the top rope during the scrap...then have then fighting back stage with the usual referees etc trying to break it up....even get lower card wrestlers involved. Then continuing the feud on from there.

Re: Goldberg contract
I doubt he'll wrestle.
He'll probably just make a guest appearance on Raw, they're signing the contract for the DVD mainly. They'll try and rope him into wrestling but if he hasn't been tempted after all these years he clearly isn't in the position where he needs to wrestle whether for money or addiction to wrestling.

Re: Goldberg contract
He has been tempted though hasn't he? He's said numerous times that he'd like his little boy see him Wrestle, for me that would have to be for the WWE at a massive event
After the career he had you have to think he'd only come out of exile for a big match in a big event, particularly if his primary reason is to perform for his son

Well the contract is supposedly only for the DVD and not tied him to any other appearances, so I don't think this is proof of him being tempted.
Wasn't aware of the son thing though.

Re: Goldberg contract
To be fair I've not read the article, just addressing the point about him previously being tempted (I'm sure I'm not making this stuff up )
I'd agree though that if its just about a DVD then that's all it will be, unless he's still in good shape then he might be encouraged to show newer fans what he was all about in order to appeal to a wider audiance than just fans who saw him from 98-04
I thought Goldberg had already signed a contract about a year ago with WWE regarding his image rights, I expected a DVD to be out for last Christmas

Re: Goldberg contract
Goldberg has shot down this rumour on Twitter, that isn't proof but the only reason I can think for him denying the signing of the contract if he has done is if he has possible WWE appearances that the company want to keep a surprise.

Re: Goldberg contract
Ok so if Goldberg is going to be making appearances, who do you think he will be working with?

Re: Goldberg contract
If Goldberg did return it would be right into a high profile program and for me that would mean Punk, Punk has to get away from Cena to hold onto the title, a prolonged feud with Cena will no doubt see his reign be broken so moving him on toa feud with someone else very high profile would do the trick, the problem is without Goldberg there is very few faces that could help Punk main event, Orton is one
