Sold out ??????
First topic message reminder :
Well, as Victor Meldrew would say, I DONT BELIEVE IT !!!!!! I went to get a ticket for the Scarlets V Ospreys game and I was duly told that there were no tickets available, can anybody shed any light on this ? ScarletSpiderman, Smirnoff I am looking to you, but are they all really sold out ? Oh well, if they are then I will have to watch it on the box.

Re: Sold out ??????
Priest, I do believe the new 4-way header at the MS next year, will be a spectacle to behold. Be nice to out-match the English version at Twickers and fill it. For the Regions and Wales.
Its high-time to let the clubs go - as a moaning, non-regional supporting point and help the regions grow. Just my opinion.

East stand is now open for ticket buying - suggesting 10k tickets have been sold.

Re: Sold out ??????
Gibson, I'd be suprised if we get more than the English double header in the 1st year - particularly as most of the internationals will be away (I'm hoping from the 2nd year that they move it to this time of year instead). It should grow each year and hopefully can, like you say, get 50k+ and maybe even sell out at some point. At the minute I'd like 30k+ to be there, that would be good and will be an increase on both home teams combined gates and provide a decent atmosphere.
London Tiger - good news, it's great what a bit of positivity and form can do for attendances

Cheers Iaob.
That's great news with still a day to go, reckon we could get to as close a sell out as possible, with just odd seats dotted about left empty.
Can't wait for tomorrow

To be honest even if they did not sell any more seats it would have the feel of a sell out due to the vast amount of the stadium appearing full. SHould be one very noisy place come 7.05pm tomorrow.
Anyone know how many Osprey fans can be expected at the Parc?

Re: Sold out ??????
I dunno SS, they didn't buy many from their allocation but they never do, most prefer to buy direct so they can choose where to sit.
2 years ago there were quite a few of them, not as many last year. Hope there's a good bunch though, especially on the terracing as it makes for a cracking atmosphere.

It'll be a great atmosphere and I'm loving the positivity attached to the Scarlets - it's great.
The Scarlets website says they expect a close to sell out with only a few tickets left, which is absolutely fantastic for a Friday night game which is difficult to travel to/from via public transport.
I can't wait!

Dreamer - I hope there are a decent amount as it does improve the atmosphere. The one thing I have noticed is that the amount of shirt-wearing derby match attending-only sort of Ospreys fans have been disappearing from these boards, and pretty much disappearing full stop.
Priest - do you have a feeling the kick-off may end up being delayed for this one to make sure that everyone is there?

Re: Sold out ??????
It could be - normally I'd be really worried about that (as I might have to miss the end to catch the last train) but I'm staying over in Llanelli so haven't considered it.
I don't think it will, because (IF my memory serves me right) the Munster and Ospreys games last year started on time and they were 13k+

Re: Sold out ??????
Just had a quick nose at the ticket website, about 100-200 seats left (I am lazy and lost count)

Re: Sold out ??????
That's really impressive fair play - for a Friday night game I would have been happy with 10k+ so I'm extatic with a sell out, especially with a day to go to the game - there may be a lot of disappointed walk up fans!
This bodes well for the rest of the season!

Re: Sold out ??????
Not sure it will be quite sold out, they've just opened up some more blocks in the east and west stand, but fingers crossed with a bit of a walk up crowd we'll get close to 14K.
So can't wait for this one! Can't wait to get singing.
George Earle said he was amazed by how much noise 6.5K of us made, so goodness knows what he'll make of a full house!
My one concern....I have never seen Scarlets play well in front of a big crowd at home. Nervous as hell now.

Dreamer, I think it will stir them up even more and set a precedent. There is nothing like being cheered on by a huge partisan home crowd. All they have to do on the field, is carry on doing what they have been doing.
Believe.

Oh I believe Gibbo. I've believe before mind and they've not done it is all
Just hope the folks who don't go so often really get behind the singing, that will really help.
Ooo a derby match, such a buzz!
