Report: NFL/NFLRA Agree to Deal
Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
As @mortreport is reporting, an agreement between NFL and NFLRA is at hand and both sides will work to have officials working this weekend.

I kind of preferred getting screwed out of games... added an element of unpredictability to score prediction contests...

This better be true! I haven't made it to NFL.com yet this evening

Only agreement so far is on backup oficials - increasing the pool of available officials to the NFL. But if its a sign of movement, then maybe we'll have a full deal within 24 hours? NFL has to back down a little after this weekends fiasco's.
Makes me wonder if the NFLRA paid the scabs to tank it...

Arctile about in on NFL.com... made me chuckle...
From NFL.com
"One lingering concern about the referees is how much prep time they'd require to get back on the field. Estimations have placed that anywhere from one to three weeks, but that's doomsday talk, thanks to the legwork of the increasingly mythical -- but entirely real -- Ed Hochuli."

The refs are back on an 8 year.
They compromised on pension, the current plan continues until 2016 until the NFL's 401k plan comes in

Great to finally have the real refs back. Just read this piece in the Washington Post which is quite an interesting insight into the whole thing:-
