Week 4 Fantasy Help
1 RB 1 WR 3 Flex: Doug Martin, Andre Brown, Torrey Smith, Dwayne Bowe, Roddy White, Malcolm Floyd, Martellus Bennett, Rob Gronkowski.
Do I drop Chris Johnson for Heath Miller?

Re: Week 4 Fantasy Help
Tough choice Derby
Personally I would go Martin / Brown [If Bradshaw is out] / White / Floyd & Gronk .
If by drop you mean just put on your bench then yes until he shows any sign of regaining form ,but don't get rid of him

Re: Week 4 Fantasy Help
The only caution I'd put on Martin is that he's up against the Redskins this week and the Bucs would be insane not to pass all day against our awful secondary. This is the week to have Vincent Jackson in your fantasy team!! Still, if Bradshaw is playing for the Giants then Martin is probably still a better bet than Brown cos he should see more touches.
Tough not to play the Gronk and I'd alongside him I'd have White and Smith.

RB: D. Martin (unless Bradshaw is a scratch)
WR: R. White
Flex: Gronk, D. Bowe (tempted by Floyd though as the Chiefs D has been a bit of a sieve), T.Smith
No I wouldn't drop CJ2K for Miller. If you mean "drop" as in permanently get rid of him then it's a massive no... i'm aware he currently sucks and you should bench him, but he has too much talent and started quite similar last year and still put up 1000 yards once he picked things up late season. If you mean "bench", then still its a no as Miller is on a bye week

I think Amendola x2 is the best option in both. Seattle should get a ton of pressure forcing Bradford underneath.
As for another 2: Maclin and Nicks I think. Marshall hasn't got a good connection with Cutler so far, and Dallas is a tough assignment.

Re: Week 4 Fantasy Help
Maybe, depends on what the rest of your roster looks like + size of league. Miller is getting targets and more importantly, if it's a standard or touchdown heavy league, he's getting targeted frequently in the RZ. If that continues he'll consistently rack up the points.Derbyblue wrote:

On the other hand CJNoK's value is virtually non-existent. I suspect he'll be cut very soon in many smaller leagues if he hasn't been already.
It is tricky though because the general rule of thumb is you shouldn't cut a player if you think he'll be claimed immediately, which CJ probably would just based on his "name" alone. Comes down to how brave you are.
Chris Johnson was awful last season, I should know I drafted him @ #2 in the East league, he had 4 good games all season which inflated his stats and the rest of the time he was averaging 40 yards rushing per game + maybe 20 receiving yards. He only had 4 TDs, that's awful for a standard scoring league.crazy_dave23 wrote:

Bench Brees, his form in the first 3 games has been poor and he has been outscored by RGIII and even Andy Dalton in previous weeks, the Saints will be lucky to go .500 this season

Re: Week 4 Fantasy Help
20pts in each of his first 3 games is poor!?
Just because the Saints may not win much this season doesn't mean you bench Brees. Last year the Panthers were .375. That didnt stop people choosing Cam Newton in the 1st.
I should bench MJD, i mean the Jags have only won 1 game so far....

Re: Week 4 Fantasy Help
The actual answer is you start one and you trade the other.
There is no need to have both Brees and RGIII... farm one out for a top quality player elsewhere and i mean top quality...

I'd also add that I trust Brees and I dont trust RGiii to keep it going all year, so trade RGIII whilst his value is sky high

The more the Saints are bad, the more Brees will throw.

Maybe because Cam Newton was the Panthers offence, how is Cam doing this season ? Ditto MJD he is the Jags main offensive weapon, Brees numbers are poor for an elite QB

Stafford, unless he is out in which case Schaub given how the Titans got ripped last week by Detroit...
I'm aware the Lions also got shredded in that game, but i'd trust Schaub a little bit more than Ponder who has started well, but could also have ups and downs given that he has had less than a season under center.
Nelson (Saints suck at Pass D... this could be the Packers coming out party after 3 string defences)
Jones (because this is a dumb question... the next time anyone queries starting Julio Jones I may just suggest the bench him for comedy value)
Possibly Stevie Johnson. I think there will be more points in the Bills Pats than in the Bears Cowboys

Doubt there's any rule against it, if you trust people to not give bias views or just ignore those you're up against it shouldn't be an issue.bambamwillis wrote:I thought we weren't asking line up Qs for our leagues on here!!
