Demon,
Uno is very good. It's old school Green Day with a modern twist, Very funky and twangy. Only had 1 listen through but will have another go later.

Re: Trash Talk (sponsored by Wayne Winstone)
Bull's clearly paying attention...
I think JJ will win the Gold Rush, Cassius will win the world title, JJ vs. Cassius at Born in Fire.
I think that's why Cassius was turned heel and why JJ is having the big push. It's probably 6WF's biggest rivalry, it also frees TGA and Crime Lord to fight.

Ok how about this for question........
What would be the biggest draw for a 6WF main event at BIF? What match would you think would get bums on seats?
IMO, with all the back story, I think it would be Uryu v Cassius

Easily JJ vs. Cassius right now.
Nemesis vs. Saint might also be a huge one.

Re: Trash Talk (sponsored by Wayne Winstone)
But would a Uryu Gold Rush win be more popular to the fans? The underdog against all odds, having a chance of a fairytale ending of 6WF's biggest PPV?
No offence to JJ, but as a fan, I would want to see that match. I think Cassius would try and promo Uryu into the dust, only to lose in the main event.

Re: Trash Talk (sponsored by Wayne Winstone)
Perhaps it's because you haven't been around as long, but the allure of a JJ/Cassius match is huge. Uryu and Cassius had a few month long feud, JJ vs. Cassius is like the mega feud of 6WF, even when they aren't feuding they're sort of feuding.
I think a Uryu Gold Rush win would be like a Rey Mysterio Royal Rumble win, good but not quite believable. It's no slight on Uryu as a promoer or a guy, but the character simply isn't there yet to be the biggest match in 6WF. The character spent far too long out of 6WF or in the low parts of the card, the character is still building but I wouldn't say he's at the level of winning the Gold Rush this year.
I think the Gold Rush needs a big character to win it, it's not a Money in the Bank, it's not for that purpose (in my opinion anyway). In fact I'd say JJ and Saint are probably the two biggest that could win it, I could also possibly see any of the three in the world title match winning it. The only non world title winning character that I'd find believable to win it would be Logan Kincade, or possibly Max Adamson if he is returning.

Yeah you are right, I can only go from what I see since I have been here
So in your opinion, a swerve/unexpected winner, would be no good? Takeo for instance.

Re: Trash Talk (sponsored by Wayne Winstone)
Yeah I think it's far too big of a risk to give such a huge match to a character like Takeo. I also think if you look at the Royal Rumble, traditionally it's been already established stars who win it, it's not supposed to be a lottery like Money in the Bank, it's booked as if it takes experience to win it, and I think to keep the Gold Rush as special, the same has to happen.

Re: Trash Talk (sponsored by Wayne Winstone)
But how do people get to the next level if the "unexpected" doesn't happen?
For my promo, I am a realist, and I tried to spin in that I didn't really care if I lost against Kenty or didn't win the Gold Rush (hedging my bets ). I thought that was better than saying I am going to win blah blah....it isn't going to happen (using your Royal Rumble analogy, it is like saying Crash Holly could win it).
But for the more established guys.....there has to be hope surely?

Re: Trash Talk (sponsored by Wayne Winstone)
This is just my opinion though to be fair, it's like me saying only so and so should win the Royal Rumble, it doesn't mean it necessarily will go like that, and it certainly doesn't mean when somebody I wasn't expecting does win it that I will be disappointed.
Beer and Mat are creative enough to make anything seem believable and a good idea.

Yeah that I have no doubt. I was just looking at it from a different angle. Not who I thought would main event at BIF, but who the casual fan would pay the PPV fee for.

I think it depends on how long the fan had been watching, had he started when he joined, JJ vs. Cassius is pretty much as big as they come, but if they started when you joined perhaps Uryu vs. Cassius is really big.

Exactly.
What I would really like to see is a massive shock that isn't Gold Rush or 6WF World Title related. Maybe to do with Lennox or Hill or these Church promos we have been having.

Re: Trash Talk (sponsored by Wayne Winstone)
I agree with Crimey, I see the winner of the gold rush as either a guy already in the Main Event scene or a returnee who was always up there. That's not to say that's what will happen
Lex's feud with Jack was great but ended prematurely mainly down to me, I had decided to take a break from 6WF so asked for the loser leaves match , I regretted it the moment it happened
Can't believe that was over a year ago since Lex was in 6WF , how time flies when you're destroying rival companies
