Eddie Howe leaves Burnley for Bournemouth
Leaves 3 Championship clubs without managers, however Mick McCarthy seems set to take over Bolton

Very shocked. I guess he has business he diddnt finish off at Bournemouth. I know they are very ambitious giving there new financial backing so i think they want him to mount a promotion push. Wont be this season but i think good signs ahead for Bournemouth.
As for Burnley. I imagine they will be a bit peed off there manager has left them for a league one side. I wonder if Owen Coyle would go back there? Would be the perfect solution tbf
Any Burnley fans have any ideas?

Howe's family lives in Bournemouth and considering he has a young son I think he probably wanted to be closer to him and his wife.
Coyle to Burnley? No chance. I think Burnley fans would revolt if that happened

I think football fans are a lot more forgiving than we like to believe.

The first game of the season would indicate otherwise

Perhaps but the Burnley board don't appear to be.

Paulo Di Canio could be a good appointment.

Paolo Di Canio only gets success when the club overspend. Swindon now have a transfer embargo due to overspending on wages. Go figure.
Burnley are a much bigger club than Bournemouth, Howe only moved for personal reasons (and the vast sums Bournemouth are shelling out as well). But Burnley would do well to get someone like Paul Ince or Roy Keane, failing that maybe Steve Kean
