Glasgow signs new Pumas prop
Cusack and Grant look to be given a bit of help - this from the Warriors fansite:
Glasgow Warriors have signed Argentine international prop German Araoz.
The tight-head, capped by the Pumas this summer, has joined on a three-month contract and had a first look round Scotstoun Stadium last night after passing his medical. He will not be drafted into the Warriors’ Heineken Cup squad at this stage, but will begin training with his new teammates immediately.
German is joining up at a time when Glasgow have four significant injuries in the front row – props Ed Kalman (back), Moray Low (knee), and Jon Welsh (shoulder) and hooker Pat MacArthur (foot).
The 27-year-old locked Argentina’s scrum in the May wins over Brazil and Chile, and was a key part of the Pampas side which competed against South African teams in this year’s Vodacom Cup, reaching the quarter-finals. At club level, he has been a pivotal figure for Jockey Club Tucuman.
Head coach Gregor Townsend today welcomed German to the club, telling glasgowwarriors.org: “We’re very happy to be bringing on board another international prop at what is an intense juncture in the season.
“German is a strong scrummager and tackler who will give us an additional option in an area of the team where we have sustained a significant number of injuries.
“[Tonga loose-head] Ofa Fainga’anuku has given us a boost by coming in and hitting the ground running, making an immediate impression, and we’re looking forward to working with German to help him do likewise.”
German said: “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to join a major European club like Glasgow Warriors. I’ve been really impressed by the facilities at Scotstoun, and I can’t wait to get out on the training pitch with the rest of the squad to stake a claim for selection.”
Having Voda Cup experience is good, so let's see how he goes.

I'm guessing he'd be surpluss to requirements when Welsh, Low and Kalman are fit. I'm sure his contract will be extended if need be.
