Really happy with that centre pairing, and can't wait to see Tondi back - as long as we use him properly and work him into some space. But if we struggled against the Scarlets and Samson Lee, I don't know how we'll fare against Bayonne and Neemia Tialata...

Ahh DOD, I sympathise with you. You had the world (well, Europe) at your feet, the best team in Europe, the scariest prospect in the HC. Then all of a sudden you're no longer top dog. No longer talked about, apart from how far you've slipped. You yearn for the things you used to be. And to make it worse your greatest rivals are everything you used to be, and then some. So to make yourself feel better you pick on the little guy, the team still ranked far below you, as this gives you a sense of victory that you're missing, a victory that you can't get any more on Internet discussions with the 'big boys' of European rugby. Quite funny really!

Some excellent passages of play. Dragons need to play like that more often. Bayonna gave away a couple penalties during those phases yet nothing from the ref. Oh well.

Of course it was no try!!!!
2 euro games on Wales soil, 2 dissapointing defeats, lets see if the Blues can make it 3 from 3, and the O's at Leicester... oh dear.

19-22 to Bayonne, with a Dragons disallowed try by video ref in injury time. Fair call IMO as it was impossible to tell who or what put it down.

Where was our performance from the last 5 for the rest of the second half? Steff should've been on earlier definitely.
I was stood on the Hazell though, with the wife. Some anniversary in the end. We were so flat from 30-75 mins or so. Bayonne could infringe how they wanted in the rucks though. But we can't be that flat at home.

You see that hit on Sid on the tv? That was right in front of me. Brutal by Tialata. Great hit.

Re: Newport Gwent Dragons v Aviron Bayonnais
That was sarcasm from Morgannwg: See DOD's comments saying the ref was a home for the dragons because he was British.

Bayonne were clearly offside, should have been penalised if no try (which i couldn't even see with the poor stream).

Yeah that hit was amazing. We did blow too many opportunities, opportunitites where we weren't under any pressure. Ref deciding not to ping Bayonne though on the several occassions he should have proving costly.
