Week 9 Fantasy Help!
I'll get the ball rolling.
Denvers D (@CIN) or Ravens D (@CLE)
Freeman (@OAK) or E Manning (PIT)
Was thinking Ravens and Freeman, but happy to be persuaded...

Re: Week 9 Fantasy Help!
Tough choices Moot. I think I'd also go Ravens and Freeman.
Dalton's thrown a lot of picks this season but that game could be a bit of a shootout which would hurt the Denver D's points total. Ravens v Browns more likely to be a lower scoring affair and there's always the promise of a sack or turnover or two with the Cleveland offsense.
Pittsburgh is a tough outing for Manning but he's at home and the Steelers have been a different team away from home this season than when they're at home so it wouldn't surprise me if Eli had a good game. Freeman should get decent numbers against Oakland though and is probably a safer play here. Only thing that would worry me about Freeman is whether or not the Bucs decide to pound Doug Martin given his performance last week.

Re: Week 9 Fantasy Help!
Oakland are strong against the run. It's the secondary that lets the unit down, so I would expect Freeman to get good numbers if they let him throw it.
Then again, Matt Ryan gave up 3 picks vs the Raiders. Possibly a fluke...

Re: Week 9 Fantasy Help!
My problem is:
Are the Vikings D good enough against Seattle? I'd say yes because they aren't a team to put up huge points. But I can pick up another if it's sensible.
I have no RBs this week either - Greene and Bolden on byes! So I have Turner, and at the moment, Goodson. I need someone on waivers, and there is almost nothing there...

Re: Week 9 Fantasy Help!
Got to go with Freeman, the Raiders D is not strong and they are giving up a lot of points, Freeman wont put up the same numbers fantasy wise as last week but will score late teens/early 20's.
Sodhat look for Tanner, Felix Jones is dinged and will see around 15 snaps minimum against the Falcons.

Slim pickings at RB...
Martin for sure then probably Bell because Redman is likely down to third string presuming he is even fit enough to play.
Wideout...
Maclin and Smith because the matchups are awesome
TE...
Rudolph because Pitta Bread is a let down.
Flex...
Probably Hey-Bey because I figure he is the better receiver, though Cecil Shorts seems like a good gamble up against Detroit's secondary

AP and McGahee in that order
VJax, Wayne and Mike Wallace (Flex) in that order.
Bench AJ Green... what has he done for you lately
Bench Foster... The Bills run defence is so fearsome I wouldn't risk it.
I feared you might ask about Julio Jones...

Re: Week 9 Fantasy Help!
Right, that enquiry was more about the extra WR and flex. I'll obviously start foster, Peterson and green.

Re: Week 9 Fantasy Help!
For 1 RB and 1 Flex spot:
RB:DeAngelo Williams @WAS
Blount @OAK
M.Bush @TEN
LaRod Stephens-Howling @GB
WR: Andre Roberts @GB
I'm leaning towards D.Will and Roberts...

Probably dreesen.
Luck.
Spiller.
Cook.
I cant even believe you're asking about the last one. RG3 is the highest scoring QB!

I like Kevin Walter this week, but at the end of the day its a run first team playing a horrendous run defence - so despite the Bills Pass D being suspect as well I'd probably take Rudolph as I think he will get a TD

Re: Week 9 Fantasy Help!
For MJ33...
Two from McGahee, Fred Jackson or Chris Johnson - Hate Jackson's matchup, though his points could come via passes.
Andre Roberts or DeSean Jackson - Saints Pass D is abysmal and I see points a plenty.
Craig Stevens or Joel Dreessen - but surely there is better on the waiver wire?
Luck or Tannehill - taking the QB on the team I think will win. I'm still not sold on Tannehill fantasy wise, especially coming off being hurt.
McGahee or Spiller - As before, I don't like the Bills matchup, but I do like McGahee's
Jared Cook or Jacob Tamme - surely this is just the rich man's version of Stevens vs Dreessen...
RG3 or Big Ben - RG3 is number one in fantasy points so I daren't risk him versus the ferocious Panther secondary...
Three from Reggie Wayne, Hakeem Nicks, Torrey Smith, Andre Roberts and Kenny Britt - Not sure about Nicks due to his lingering issues with fitness, but I figure it's a big game and he normally shows up for them. I also can't trust Britt because of the matchup
Heath Miller or Kyle Rudolph - Heath always seems to notch a score in the tight matchups

Re: Week 9 Fantasy Help!
My team with Stevens and Dreesen is a 20 team league. I won't be rejoining next season. I think Ben has the chance at a big game. We're great pass rushers but our secondary, bar Stevie Brown, sucks
Thanks guys.
Thanks guys.

Probably bench Martin with Nicks on IR, then again I benched him against the Vikings and look how that turned out...
