606v2 colour scheme

Maybe I just haven't worked out something that already exists as an option but I'm kinda having difficulties with the white dazzling background on V2 (eyes are getting less able to abide the prolonged 'whiteouts' in recent months). I was just wondering was there an option already there that I haven't found, or could there be an option put in place to have an alternative colour scheme that would be more kind to eyes?

Is it possible to have this version for people who are happy with the present and a version with a darker background (grey or some other dark colour) with brighter writing for people who can be sensitive?
