Should City go for Suarez???
Let's face it If they did they'd get him...Suarez is ambitious!!!!
However things to consider....
1.50 million is a lot when they have two short guys in Aguero and Tevez..Do they really need him.....
2. Surely City need width....50 million for a Bale type would surely be the smart move!!
3. He's bound to be suspended a lot.....
4. Does he project the right image for the club..
5. Will he get penalties when he's nailed in the box??
Suarez..yes or no???.................Yes why not...

What has height got to do with it? The days of a towering battering ram type centre forward are done. Suarez is a great player. Not sure he would get much play time with the two Argentinians though.

Re: Should City go for Suarez???
He's better than Aguero and Tevez so on the face of it would improve the team. But as you've said, city need to rid themselves of workman like players such as Milner and Barry and buy some quality.
It shouldn't be a complicated situation because he is a phenomenal talent, but for me I don't think he has it in him not to cheat. You'd be better off looking elsewhere in my opinion.

Re: Should City go for Suarez???
I think it's totally relevant that they have two similar players in Tevez and Aguero, not so much the height thing (though obviously that's a big part of why they play the way they do.) Suarez even once said that he only decided he would be able to be a success in England when he saw how well Tevez did.
I'm not sure that he's worth it to City, as you say it'd be stocking up in a position that is not needed. Tevez and Aguero are both perfectly capable of scoring 40 goals in a season between them and Dzeko is good back up, Suarez would not be happy sitting on the bench as his work-rate is ridiculous sometimes, even when games are all but over he still hates being subbed off, that doesn't strike me as the kind of player who is happy to play second-fiddle or even in a system that rotates.
Apparently the rumour has been started by Liverpool, with two possible reasons; 1. That Rodgers can hit the rumours on the head now, which he did in the press conference or 2. Liverpool are attempting to get a bidding war started now to get most for him.

Re: Should City go for Suarez???
It's all hyped by the English media just to fill some papers. It's a ridiculous story created by people who know very little about the game or the needs of the respective teams. Same kind of journalists who continued to dismiss Ibrahimovic as a world class player for so many years and now there calling him one of the greatest or something along those lines.
Why would City need Suarez? They don't. Suarez is a striker in the same mould of Tevez and Aguero and in my opinion is an inferior finisher compared to both. Suarez is not a proflic goalscorer, he's a scorer of great goals. City need wingers to create some width and to give space to Silva & Toure roaming through the middle, anyone can see that apart from the clueless Mancini. Buying Sinclair and removing Adam Johnson was extraordinary and made City more and more predictable.
1. No
2. Yes but Spurs are unlikely to sell Bale to domestic rivals.
3. He's not actually suspended that much, even though he's a cheating, diving annoyance. The racial ban was long but apart from that he's not sent off that frequently.
4. The image of City is not that great in world football. Spend loads and try and win everything.
5. If it's a penalty then it's a penalty. He won't take them though.
Overall, it's a pointless story and will never happen. Ridiculous fee & wages too.

Suarez is on fire at the moment....
Balotelli is leaving........suarez is ambitious......
and you don't need mystic Meg to tell you he won't win anything of note at a second-premiership-division club like Liverpool..

City need a winger more than a Suarez as you say TRUSSMAN. I could see it happening, but I'm not sure it would be the right move for all parties

Suarez is a mercenary that wants medals and higher wages.
1. I don't think a player who moves to clubs where he wants medals is a mercenary, it's perfectly acceptable.
2. I don't know where you have got the evidence that he is a mercenary after high wages. He has given no indication of this in his career.

Re: Should City go for Suarez???
At the moment there is no way we could sell him, but if we sign a couple of decent strikers in the next year then I would sell him if the right offer came in.
While he does work his socks off and is carrying us at the moment, he's far too selfish with the ball. It's no coincidence that the goals have dried up for us in the last year, he never looks for a pass forward or is patient when he receives the ball, he just wants to run at players at 100mph. The team are badly suffering from this.

What a retarded comment, as if you know the guy or something, did you read that he was a mercenary in the daily mail?

Im a United fan and even I couldnt call the guy a mercenary. He moved from South America to Ajax, was loyal to them for a time and moved to Liverpool nearly 2 years ago and has not once tried to maneuver a move away, despite borken promises from the board of new players and faliure to improve the teams position.
Saying that though, as a united fan, I would love him to move to City and try and say half of what he did to Evra in training to Ballotelli. Dont think he'd be walking for a month if he did haha

Hes not better than Tevez either.
If they want another striker then Falcao is the man, a little different to their other options, a hell of a lot better than Dzeko.
They dont even need a striker. Silva's return will get them firing soon, plus Mancini mismanages strikers anyway

I disagree. For one they have a history of selling their better players to fellow PL clubs and for two if the price is right they'll cash in. Daniel Levy is a business man and wouldn't turn his nose up to 50 million smackers, whoever the club are. City, United and Chelsea are not really Spurs' direct rivals anyway if they are honest and no other club could afford him.

Typical moron. I asked you how is he a mercenary and you answer that "he's found to be a cheat so he can't get a penalty to save his life" What has any of that got to do with him being a mercenary? The question still stands if you want to answer it but I doubt you even know what day it is judging by the first answer.
