Liverpool have signed a deal with Boston based firm Warrior Sports - a subsidiary of New Balance - to manufacture their kits from 2012-13 onwards. The deal is worth a reported £25 million per year, eclipsing Manchester United's current £23.5 million per annum deal with Nike and making it the biggest kit deal in English football. It is also more than double the current arrangement with adidas.

Apparently Warrior Sports specialises in hockey and lacrosse equipment/kit.

What do you make of this news?

positive!

Every little helps I suppose, but we need to find a way forward with the stadium, we need an extra 20,000 seats really. However we go about it.

What's the latest on stadium situation anyway? Seems to have gone pretty quiet on that front. Not that it's a bad thing, I prefer LFC getting things done behind closed doors rather than on the back pages, but was wondering if anyone had heard anything?

The kit deal is fantastic news, shows we are now taking full advantage of our prestigious status within the game, something which was mishandled during the 90's and early 00's when Liverpool were left behind by some of the other premier league clubs in terms of merchandising.

Totally agree Living. That's 2 fantastic sponsorship deals we've signed, first with Standard Chartered and now with Warrior.
