Quins A Team
Great game at the Stoop last night, Quins A thumped Saries by 37 - 12. Some very good young talent for Quins, all looks good for the future..

I would have loved to have gone to that tbh, it was free to season ticket holders, but was busy last night (stupid family gettig in the way of mah Rugbies) - traffic inbound would have been no problem and parking not an issue as well.

Yes I did go, I have a season ticket and this was the first A match I have been to, I will certainly be going to them next season. Ollie Lindsay-Hague was a cut above, Botica also had a goon game a kicked well.

Re: Quins A Team
That's good to hear about Lindsey-Hague as he's had a very mixed season so far for the A team. I was hoping that with Chisholms injury he'd get a shot at the bench 23 shirt but to be honest it's still too early for him, I hope Chisholm is back early in the new year, our back three looks so much better with him there.
Ali, I would have had to have taken the train up but sadly forgot all about it!

I was more interested as to how Clegg was playing. Interesting to see Botica was playing 12 and not 10, good to see they still have Clegg in there at 10 and i hope he's finding his legs.
Train's a bit of a pain from Guildford isn't it? or does one run straight through to Clapham?

Train is a little difficult at times, straight to Clapham and then change there for the stopping service (literally every single stop). Can be a bit uncomfortable when it's busy!
Just seen that highlights are up of the game, if it is Clegg that's passing in them then the passes are pretty impressive. OLH looks like he had a stormer, his second try was reminiscent of Chisholms against Glos last season! And Wallace featues a fair few times, he's got a really surprising turn of pace, would love to see him play more for the first team as he brings such different skills.

Well, at least it's straight through to Clapham. The slow train is indeed a nightmare, especially if you've had a few beers on the way back to Clapham
Great highlights! Just wish i was there a little more last night now

Re: Quins A Team
Mentioning Chisholm earlier, I saw him in the gym today, still has his protective case on his leg and only doing a little flexing with it so I guess he's still a fair way off his come back sadly.
Yea if you haven't tactically used the facilities before you board that stopping service then you can be in a lot of trouble... I would say that the journey must be easier for you but looking at your location... ...

Hah! Just a sly dig - I'm from Camberley, just down the Hogs Back and new road. Can you Guildfordians please stop beating us if we ask really nicely ... and give you

Ah yes Camberley, had to work there for a bit but luckily I managed to escape
You must have to drive then as I have no idea where your local train would take you.

Hope OLH gets a bit of time off the bench if Chisholm isn't back yet. Nice to see what our 3rd choice specialist FB can do against a pretty decent Sarries Storm side!

Re: Quins A Team
Wasn't that second try impressive?! Straight out of the Chisholm play book, he'd add a very different style to Brown (who'd i'd probably nudge to the wing if Hague is coming off the bench, which reminds me didn't Mike play some on the wing on Sat?)

Mauls were really good as well, even when disrupted well the players didn't panick, just reset themselves and drove again. Marfo is an absolute beast.
