Agree with the above comments, no doubt alb has been absolutely sensational. although i would ask alaba from bayern to be put on the list, he has been superb for bayern throughout the last year.

Alba is the clear winner of this for me.

And given it is solely for performance in 2012, I fail to see how Cole gets above Baines. Even the players who voted the PFA Premier League Team of the Year picked Baines this year
