First topic message reminder :
Anybody still playing this? I recently started again after losing my save and have decided to use nothing but magic. Just completed Bleak falls barrow so the first thing I'm doing is all the side quests.

Yeah I was making sure I was in full sneak mode so I could at least get in a few decent shots before the idiot ran in all guns blazing. For being head sneak he was proper gung ho shouting like an American marine on tour.

I've decided I want to give smithing a go, so that I can create my own Daedric armour. Fed up of wearing boring old plate.
Might decide to give some soul trapping a go too, I did it once but kept filling up my soul gems with foxes and wolves. What gives you the best souls?

Re: Skyrim
Humans, but you need black soul gems.
Alternatively do azuras star quest and convert it to the black star for a reusable grand soul.

the azura/black star is basically a soul gem that never breaks once you use it.
Soul trap humans and black star and theres a reusable grand soul for enchanting.

Cheers, I'll have another try tonight I'm sure, only issue was my last save was quite far back with a load of falmers, so got to butcher all them before the boss. Usually really good on saves too so serves me right.

I got lucky, the person in the field was still alive
A young girl and an old bloke snuffed it. Not that bothered about that. Followed the trail to the fire mages place, and got showered with fireballs and sparks. I HATE sparks.

I always love being attacked by ice stuff, especially when your follower gets hit and walks around for a bit with a huge bolt of ice coming out of his head. Same with arrows, I like occasionally shooting my follower in the eye just so he walks round with it nonchalantly.

I've just never enjoyed playing games as a sword n shield type of character, in WOW I hated Warriors/Paladins etc, always gone for either mage or rogue style.

Re: Skyrim
Love how in the game it's simply a matter of walking up to someone you've previously helped in a quest and basically saying 'oi, you look alright, tomorrow morning let's get married' it's like being back at primary school and just asking a girl out but then never actually doing anything but just nods of the head of 'yer alright?' when you passed her in the playground.

Can make a pretty sick light armor set if you combine the 3 sets from Thieves, Nightingale and Assassins for the bonuses you like.
Theres also a cloth assassins set I never noticed before.

I'm purposefully avoiding as much of the main quest as possible and working my way through the different guilds currently as well as the war between the storm cloaks and Imperial Army.

Re: Skyrim
Hi guys, I've been playing for 146 hours, am level 53 and am an axe and shield guy who feels pretty comfortable in my dragon armour. Just started playing again after the Dragonborn dlc came out on PS3.
Have any of you got glitched quests? I've got a daedric one where you are guiding Meridias light through the temple. I kill the final guy and them am stuck floating in the sky above Skyrim. Also got a glitched word wall at the Lost Valley Redoubt. Mucho irritating

Re: Skyrim
I got the Sanguine Rose, not had a chance to use it yet. Am going on the Companions quest to the witches coven, will try it out there.
Also, I took my follower to Delphine so she could be inducted into the Blades. Wish I hadn't done that, because when I got back to Whiterun the only available follower was Lydia, who was rather creepily sat in the dark in my bedroom on a chair in the corner. I've given her a closed-face helm and brought here with me, but she goes down if a skeever attacks, never mind witches

Re: Skyrim
GSC, that would have been good for your archery stats, first time I saw one I nearly cacked myself.
Azzy I just got married to Lydia, I figured if she had been hanging about for 130 hours or so I should just make it permanent. She started a shop and when I go home every few days or so she gives me a cut of the profits, which is nice.
One thing that does worry me is when I've went home twice theres been some Whiterun locals in Breezehome. I haven't suggested going to see a counsellor yet but we arent far off.
