Have had one for the past 3-4 years and it has served me very well for riding to work (around 15 miles a day). Depending on where you buy the bike check the disc breaks, i bought mine through ride to work scheme and halfords did a shocking job!

Yea - the recurring problem on all the reviews are that halfords are a shocker! Whats to check on the Disc Breaks?

Getting the aligned so the wheel spins freely without rubbing against the disc pads, bit fiddly but not hard to fix.

Not sure on hybrids. Don't know many people who have got one and then not gone on to buy a road bike fairly soon after.

Might be something worth thinking about and the Boardman Team is definitely worth a look:

Nice bike that!

Interceptor - bought the bike Wednesday Night, and i see what you mean about the Disc brakes, rubbing very slightly, making a chinging sound. Will have a look on how to adjust them tonight, but other than that, what a bike!

Yes its brilliant so far, if i can get that to stop will be over the moon. Its not a big rubbing noise, but enough to wind you up after a few miles.
