Re: Newcastle Falcons
Welcome back mate.
Not really looking to do anything for any starting players until the end of the season though, especially with EQ, though Ashton very likely he can leave then.
What sort of players are available from you as Ashton one of my top ones.

Re: Newcastle Falcons
Croft is a great, great player and I rate him very highly, but I have too many number 6's as it is with Lydiate, Messam, Bonnaire - though my lineout could be rather screwed if Bonnaire retires.
Look at a deal at the end of the season

Re: Newcastle Falcons
I would not do croft and Mitchell for may on his own so adding ferris to it is even more unlikely.
May will be a superstar. I would do may for JOC and nowt else. JOC has potential to be a superstar of they let him play a position but may is English and for me going to be England player for a decade. May a lions bolter for me.
May DC Genia Mas Ferris Etzbeth and Dagg are my players who it would take silly offers for

Dan Robson I would do for Goode.
If we're doing deals like that i'll offer Jonny Grey for Richie Grey?
I don't rate Goode much but he is an England squad player. Robson has more chance of being a top international. He has taken cowans place and has a much better pass and kicking game than him already so would take a decent offer. Both him and Goode would not start for me hence the offer

Re: Newcastle Falcons
I don't think Lancaster knows what he is doing he picked Nathan Catt and Shaun knight in Saxons.
He also picks Ben youngs no matter how bad his form is.
Robson needs to be left for a year. 9 is a position of
Incredible depth for England.
We have loads. Robson has the best kick and pass of them all. Needs to get more fiery and boss the pack more.
That's his biggest failing

Re: Newcastle Falcons
Youngs is a world beater on his day but his last top game was 3 years ago vs Australia.
Read an article about him talking of how he is put off his game easily and how teams target him. Youngs talked of using a psychologist to help him with this problem.
Said it before but I think they should take him out of firing line and give him 6 months off.
As an England fan I want him back firing. He has everything and could rival Genia but last 2 years have been wilderness years for him. He was poor against nz when we won.

Goode
Not England's first choice fb. He may be by default but If all
Fit then never. It's like saying Adam Thompson is first choice for nz.
I probably would not do Robson for Goode anyhow.
Good to see you have given up the game. You really are stepping back lol? Reckon you will be on here even more if that is possible '

Re: Newcastle Falcons
Pooly tried to get Youngs. Not a deal there in my eyes. Cole NFS. Beale would need Dagg or similar which you don't have.
BOD in a deal with AAC could be a possibility. But do love BOD and he's my VC. Get Wilson/Masoe included?

BOD still has 18 months left as one of the top 13s around.
Youngs needs Best, then we've got EQ problems.

Re: Newcastle Falcons
Mullan needs to be part of a bigger deal where I get a loosehead and a decent English player back. Kruger, Brussow, Youngs, Ashley-Cooper and Goode are all players I'd be looking at.

struggling to see anything. No deal there with your 9's or wingers really. His versatility also a big thing for me so would need to be a good deal.

Fair enough. Evans may not be playing international rugby, but I think most people would probably say that he's still a better player than Cruden, particularly through an English winter.

Tough one. Garvey is highly rated, EQ and seemingly available all year as it would appear that Lancaster won't select him. Not sure I see anything mate.
