The Ibra deal no chance rate Veratti close to Michu. And Rvp >Ibra
And the Neymar one is tempting but unsure on Hernadez tbh.

Does anyone rate De Marcos or Inler on here?
Also anyone want do a deal for my injuried players

I rate De Marcos (if you check my side in the Euro league you'll see its littered with Bilbao players) and Inler is quality too.

Michu can be bought for 20m if anyone wants him (which is certainly worth it with papers quoting a fee of 30m for him at present)

Joe Allen is a quality DLP passing ability is of the highest standard. Michu is more of a Dempaey style SS who scores goala but isnt worth more than 10mil.
But worth more to Swansea than his transfer value

Pardon my ignorance on this but I thought the ability to score goals was considered quite vital in football? In fact probably the most vital ability hasten the reason some clubs go and spend 30m plus on strikers that have a season burst of form.
Yet Michu scored 17 goals last season from a AM role in La Liga, the highest for any midfielder in La Liga last season (ie better than Ozil and Iniesta etc)
This season he's moved further forward in his role and has 16 goals already in 26 games, only RVP is ahead of him in the Premier League.
Now he's managed that in the top two leagues in Europe whilst Newcastle and QPR are duking it over Loic Remy who this season has got 3 goals in 23 games in an inferior French league yet 8m is the price both are willing to pay (and QPR would probably go higher if challenged).
Michu is also looking increasingly likely to be drafted into the Spanish squad on their next game, a sign his talent and form is now gaining the plaudits he deserves.

He retains the ball - one of the qualities that Iniesta, Xavi, Alonso, Pirlo, Carrick, Arteta, etc.. do - Ok his vision doesn't compare to some of them -or tackling compare to the others - but at 22 he has massive potential; Michu played the same position as Allen - 2/3 years ago - and was a flop; no one wanted him. Now he plays SS or ST and scores goals -and fair enough his goals are vital to a team like swansea - but I don't think he would get games at the likes of Man U, Arsenal, Man C, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs even Everton.

I like michu - but he is never worth £30mil.

Anyone want any of my players including the likes of RVP are all up for the right deal Very Happy

I think 30m is the price quoted to ward teams off (and possibly get the likes of a PSG paying silly money) I think 15-20m is certainly achievable for him though in comparison to other transfers.

Was speaking to a colleague of mine as he was saying that Messi needs to prove he is 'world class' by going to another country or go to a lesser club like Ronaldo and Maradona did.

I have been arguing with him to why does he need to do that.
He doesnt need to go anywhere and certainly not to a 'lesser' club as he isnt competing with anyone and loves the Barca club.

In a young-ish team with world class players and enjoying his football, getting paid loads...why would anyone leave that?

How's this for a front four.

Lucas Moura - David Silva - Ezequiel Lavezzi
Edinson Cavani

Had to sacrifice RVP to get Lavezzi but now I have much better wingers and can play Silva in the middle instead of wide.

With regards to the Messi argument earlier I think it's a good point. Ronaldo and Maradona proved they can slot in and star in any team.

CF - ok Rolling Eyes

Hodgey - Why does he Messi need to prove when he is demolishing defenders in the CL? He is playing in a system that gets the best out of him.

Even International level he is averaging 2 goals a game because they are adopting the same system.

That system is potentially another argument in favour of Ronaldo - his teams are not shaped around Messi to the extent Barcelona is.

True but the name of the game is goals and Messi is still producing it against every team now allbeit CL or domestic

Ronaldo does have the experience of different leagues and he does look a better and all rounded player than at Utd.

I see the case but none of them have to prove anything to anyone.
