After rumours spread like wildfire about a new upcoming wrestling promotion, finally we have confirmation.
The head of HyperEx Corp, Daniel Magnuson, today called a press conference at the company's Los Angeles headquarters.
He proudly announced that in partnership with Max Hammond they had agreed to begin the running of the Allied Wrestling Championship.
Everybody who is everybody knows that HyperEx have unlimited funds, due to their interest in oil marketing, and therefore their move into this industry could be a real concern for some of the less wealthy competition.
Magnuson went on to say that this would be a "slow process" and that together they would make the "right decisions" for the company.
Not too many details were released but it is believed that a search for roster members would begin imminently as well as a multi-million dollar advertisement scheme to attract a wider audience.
AWC will begin running out of L.A in the forseeable future, and once the company has established itself in the industry we can expect to see it spread its wings and explore the international market.
Rumours have begun to swirl about who just may sign for this new venture, but there is no concrete word just yet.
Stay tuned for more as we have it.
