You owe me money!
Evening chaps, I was talking to a boxing casual friend of mine earlier and we have invented a fun game. Basically, we were talking about what we'd say if we met David Haye - he said "I'd say you owe me £45 quid, now pose for a photo and smile b*tch"
To which I asked him why he felt that he was owed such an exact sum of money
"Well, I paid for Harrison vs Haye which was a waste of money, I paid for Wlad vs Haye which was again, a waste of money and then there was the fact I signed up for box nation for the Chisora fight, ipso facto - owes me £45"
This led my thinking to how much you'd feel you were owed if over the years of PPV the boxers were forced to pay you back if you didn't feel the main event was worth it?
I think Amir Khan would owe me some money, I'd feel like I'd need to give Froch some money and to be honest I'm pretty sure Hatton owes me some money too.
Just a fun Sunday evening game to warm your brains up for the hard week ahead!

Suspect I've got you beat JM. Went to Germany for the Haye Wlad fight that got cancelled about ten days before so I reckon Haye owes me and the missus about a grand.

I would say that I bought a non-refundable PPV event and it was my fault and they don't owe me any money.

Let me tell you something....If you saw Haye walking down the street you'd be kissing his butt and telling him how great he is....
Same with all these Mayweather is a ducker types!!....
Why is Haye-Harrison...Haye's fault???
Nice to see you using your imagination though....

I'd agree Rowley, Haye should be dipping into those deep pockets.
Alex, it wasn't a literal thing, you think I'd dare say that to a former heavyweight champion who outweighs me by some 60lbs of muscle?
I'm saying what my friend said that tickled me - made me think of a fun game. Not to tell you all how I'm about to embark on a refund adventure vs every boxer who's disappointed me. Lighten up!

my boyfriend owes me 400 quid because he bet me Audrey Harrison would beat David Haye, when I asked him for the coin he ran off to a club like the blue oyster bar, when I caught up with him I found him necking on with an old bloke with flairs and a cravat.

Re: You owe me money!
I like the topic. Very originally done - never seen it on any forum.
The people who lost and complained about losing money on Haye vs Harrison, must have been foolishly expecting something from 'A-Force' - if they lost money from seeing the guy get beat then good.
Anyone, who pays for boxing on a PPV needs a kick-up the arse. Fools funding promoters pockets and taking fights away from mainstream TV.
I don't like Sky!

Re: You owe me money!
Always remember calling sky at 6-7am and demanding they refund me for the Lewis Holyfield drawn match. Quite young (and drunk) at the time and was quoting stuff from the trade descriptions act in my uni mate's law book. Never got the £9.99 (?) refunded.

Definitely Amir Khan.
Bought the Salita and Prescott fights and both were over in a minute or so and had rubbish undercards from memory.

Re: You owe me money!
As it's a well-known fact that David Haye reads the boxing forums, and I have asked him personally on many occasions to refund my money(minus expenses) for the Manchester A-Farce, I can categorically call him a ducker.
Come on David, man up.I dare say it's peanuts compared to what you used to spend in the lapdance clubs.
