Aussie Open highlights
Some thoughts after time for contemplation:
Best match - Djokovic vs. Wawrinka (no competition for this one)
Best moment - Li Na's framed serve into the crowd
Most improved players - Wawrinka (only guy to come close to beating Novak)
Stephens (potential future No. 1?)
Biggest disappointments - Dimitrov (again)
Stosur (home crowd pressure)
Best players - Djokovic (awesome again)
Azarenka (after all the controversy showed has what it takes as No.1 against Li Na)
Date-Krumm (a 42 year old reaching the third round)

Re: Aussie Open highlights
Best match - Maybe, but Federer/Tsonga was thrilling and arguably more varied.
Most improved player; Maybe Tomic, Stan doesn't really matter whereas the game is screaming for something new at the top of the mens, and he had rather sunk to subterranean depths in 2012.
Stephen = No, she is a ball basher who got lucky with Serenas injury.
Biggest disappointment: the mens draw putting Murray in Feds half. I knew the worst at that point.

Re: Aussie Open highlights
bogbrush get your argument re Federer vs. tsonga but the Djokovic vs. Wawrinka match had drama and was edge of your seat stuff at times.
Tomic? No way. Stan deserves a mention because I've never seen him sustain his level for so long.
Stephens a ball basher? Do me a favour she's beaten Laura now twice in quick succession and was giving Serena a real battle before her back spasms.
Finally can't possibly comment on Federer's draw without getting howls of abuse fr all and sundry!
