Sarries new pitch
First game on the artificial turf was this weekend.
Did anybody get to see the game? if so how did the pitch play?

The article in todays times was a general thumbs up, though the reporter noted that some players lost their footing more than usual.
My worry is for the long term health of the sarries players. It was suggested in the summer that the Allianz would also be their training ground. studies of American Football Teams that train on such surfaces (NFL and college) suggested that there was a much higher incidence of serious knee injuries.

The surfaces used for NFL etc are different to the Allianz one. The Allianz has a longer pile meaning it's softer on the knee's. Still long term damage could be an issue.
