Getting closer
Images have been appearing all over Twitterverse of the new and (now) famous Iron Man Clock. It seems word is getting out there about the debut of EWF and the fans seem as eager as the superstars that will be involved.
A spokesperson for EWF was kind enough to speak a few words to us earlier today, saying that "although EWF does not expect to break any attendance records on their first night into the venture, they are very confident that the product they have in store for the fans will be extremely entertaining".
When pushed on the issue of new signings we were told that "every possibly avenue was being explored but acquiring talent is proving more difficult then first expected. However, EWF officials remain extremely confident that many new signings are on the horizon, it may just take the publicity of the first few shows to convince possible candidates that we are the new breed and future of professional wrestling".
Then we asked about how EWF would keep things "fresh" whilst the roster remains small we were told that "We are currently working on many unique ideas to make our shows different. Many different concepts and scenarios have been discussed in an attempt to make sure we stay ahead of the competition".
As far as the scheduling of EWF is concerned we have information that shows will be held every 10 days, offering something different to other brands on the market. Therefore EWF will be seeking a television deal that will accomodate a differing day of broadcast every week, something that will not come easily. It is also believed that there will be five free to air shows before every "pay per view" event. Daniel Magnusson himself has stated that PPV's will be probably begin on the IPPV market for as little as "$3" whilst the attempt is made to reach out to bigger fanbases.
