They sold 8,000 in first 20 minutes!
Would love to go and local but don't think i could round up my mates ASAP to all agree to go.
At least it will be at a decent time to watch on TV

It's going to be PPV...
That's a pain in the rear.
I had a text from O2 earlier about O2 Priority tickets for the fight, if you've got an O2 phone you can get tickets that way and it skips the queue on the website.

Oh right...
Go to the O2 Priority website and log in... There'll be a list of events and you can pick Froch-Kessler from there.
There was one section sold out when I looked half an hour ago, £150 tickets I think.

Even with O2 priority it's £300 if you want more than just a single seat.....

Re: Froch vs Kessler II
Has anyone watched boxing at the O2 ? Never been myself but I've purchased a couple of £80 tickets (being the free spending northerner I am)
Is it a venue similar to the old MEN ? Where most seats have a reasonable view? Im in Level 1d so hoping not to far in the gods.
Cheers Rodders

Re: Froch vs Kessler II
I haven't seen any boxing there, Rodders but I have been to a gig at the place (Kings of Leon if you're interested and they were reasonably good) and the place has pretty good views all round. We were late getting tickets and were way up in the rafters but still had a decent enough view. Your view will be fine, especially as the ring will be in the middle of the floor and not at one end like a stage.

Nice one Tina, cheers mate.
To be fair usually the modern arenas are usually excellent for all ticket prices in terms of view, hoping for a good undercard and excellent main event.
Thanks again

You're welcome buddy, enjoy.
I would love to go myself but the date doesn't work for me.
Should be a great night though.

Re: Froch vs Kessler II
Haven't been to a live show for a while Tina, the Mrs sister lives in London so free accommodation and a decent matchup like this one was too good to miss.
Have a feeling Kessler might take this one again, hoping not, but sure the two give value for money anyhow.
Cheers Rodders

Rodders I'm in your section, there will be 6 of us. Looking forward to it, will be roughly a year since I went to watch the Bute fight. Looking forward to this one even more! O2 should be an excellent arena for boxing.

Nice one Apollo, keep the noise down though mate, I'm getting on.
No seriously looking forward to it, looks like we've been lucky as the arena is now sold out.
Cheers and enjoy mate

Based on Kessler being one of these euro chumps who cant win when they got to leave their back yard. Calzaghe and Ward smashed him. Froch will as well without any dodgu refs and judges.

I imagine that a few tickets will appear on the website GetMeIn, keep your eyes opened for them.
The prices are usually rather reasonable, you might have to pay more than face value, but not too much more..

Not right now, looking at those prices, some people are having a laugh. Some of the tickets on there are higher than the VIP ticket price...
Wait a few weeks and have a look then

Got my £80 tickets (£89.50 with booking fee (!!!)) and I'm in the same place as I was for Groves-Degale. I didn't want to pay that much but when is a fight like this ever going to be on my doorstep again?
Cannot wait.

Pretty clean win against Froch last time, 'backyard' or not. Certainly nothing to suggest he will get 'smashed'. Sadly it's statements like 'Euro chump' that make you look very silly indeed.

Great that a few people on the forum are going, its going to be chaos in London though with the Champions League final going on the same day!
I wish they had picked a better date!

Am on holiday when this is on, so need to find a bar where this is showing. Guess if you can't be there watching it in the sun is not a bad substitute.

Due to a change in work circumstances I've not been able to get on here much but I'm hoping to be on as much as possible in the evenings from now. I'm going to buying into ALL the hype, ALL the build up. This is huge. My first world title fight too.

It's good to see you back Monkey. Should forewarn you though if all you're going to do is go on about this fight and thus remind me that I can't go I'll probably ban you fairly soon. Just want to say in advance it is genuinely nothing personal.

Well I've plenty more to bang on about too. Although, yeah, it'll mainly be Froch-Kessler!

I saw Kesslers fight with Green and I saw some signs that perhaps Kessler is on the slide. Dunno if its because it was a LH but this might be the end of the great dane.

Doesn't matter where you are going on holiday, it could be New Zealand, you are still going to be envious of us

Possibly, but he got caught cold in the first round, got up and then delivered a punch worthy of knockout of the year to deck him for the count. Even if Kessler has slipped slightly its going to be a war, the atmosphere is going to be electric!

For sure the timing feels as though it favours Froch. The Bute win has given him so much momentum its almost unbelievable, can Kessler stop that? Aside from Ward its difficult to imagine anyone who could.

Nope I fully expect Froch to win, however its going to be a war regardless, both men will be up for this, not doubt and they will leave it all in the ring.

It could also be his undoing in that he could get over confident and believe his own hype.

Re: Froch vs Kessler II
Whatever Happens I hope its a tight fight, both of these fighters are everything we'd wish our boxers to be and a bad result either way could damage their standing badly.
