Six Nations Competition - Final Leaderboard

So after another tough week in this year's Six Nations competition with not many calling wins for Italy and Wales we finally have a winner. My hopes faded faster than England's Grand Slam on Saturday afternoon as did many of others. The overall leader after week 4, Bathman_in_London, only managed nine points from Saturday's first two games so that left plenty with chances. Both glamorganalun and Wales606 called all three games the right way and came away with 94 and 93 points respectively top top the weekly table but were too far back to trouble the top of the leaderboard. Bathman_in_London redeemed himself a little in the France v Scotland game to finish the weekend with 35 points and that turned out to be just good enough to hang on at the top of the overall leaderboard and take the title.

So congratulations goes to Bathman_in_London

Bathman_in_London, RubyGuby, mr_stonelea, WillyGilly and mistiroakey all called the most games with 10 out of the 15 games right. N-one got a correct score this year. This year;s tournament was much harder to predict and than shown in the winners total of 306 points compared to 426 points last year. In fact this year's winning total wouldn't have made the top 20 in 2012.

Note to self, check score before pressing send, on checking back I had the Eng v Sco game at 21 al when it should have read 21 12 England.

Glad to know I'm just lurking in the play off places, home semi final, none of the pressure of finishing 1st...

Top 6 from week 1, decent start. Also called the Scotland result and Italy score near, have to focus on this as have forgotten to set my ESPN team 2 weeks in a row!!!

Had been failing badly before this week, school report reads keep up the good work

Still in the top 10 but need a big week to have any chance of winning, can't be too disappointed though, I am above some illustrious names and a top 5 finish isn't out of the question

No one here is talking about winning, I'm just focusing on the next round of games, focusing on putting right the things which went wrong last week.

I never want to win these competitions. Exactly average, it takes skill to land there.

Im beginning to sense predicting a 9000 point win for france may have hampered my chances a bit this year.

A 1st, 3rd & 4th and two awful weeks but a good game.

33rd, 29th two 1st and 6th overall 4th happy with that after the start i had.

Thanks for organising mate. I'd love to claim some sort of advanced rugby knowledge but I thought most games would be tight and it turned out that way!

How this fella has the time and organisation to do this I don't know but it's greatly appreciated After a great weekend, I've just looked at the table and I'm runner up, I'm sure Cyril will appreciate that - Isn't it strange how some runners up can be over the moon and others absolutely dejected - maybe its about managing expectations

Oh I knew I forgot something, I didn't do rounds 4 or 5, until then I was going ok too (with a lot of conservitive scorelines.
