GHB
got to say that I dont expect the Ospreys to go through.
For that to happen the blues have to lose against the Scarlets, mmmmm?
And the Dragons have to beat Ulster, now that is debatable.
And of course Aironi c ould end up winning their last game of the season.
Those pants could well need changing soon.

Re: come on dragons
Depends which Ulster turn up really. Blues definitely didn't play to their potential and I predict a much closer game next week. Dragons were excellent- should be a cracker.

Charity shirt for Richard Parks 737 challenge. Read up on it, it's truly amazing what he's doing. It's for Marie Curie. Shirts will be auctioned real soon.
Oh yeah, great night at Dave Parade.

Re: come on dragons
I have to say well done to the dragons.
It is interesting that the Scarlets often receive plaudits for their attacking flair, yet the Dragons never get a mention, but I am pretty sure that the Dragons have scored more Magners League tries than the Scarlets this season.

Re: come on dragons
Dragons definitely the most expansive Welsh region- not a question of intent, but rather execution. They are good at the breakdown the Dragons, and their 9 and 10 are good in attack, they use their possession very well.

cheers Rev sounds interesting i'l have a read of that
dragon are very good at the breakdown true and are starting to be very good at getting the ball away quickly and the backs are seeing the holes to play in

Re: come on dragons
Dunno Grizzly - Blues will be well up for it now. Nothing against the Dragons but fro a selfish point of view I was hoping there'd be less hanging on the Scarlets vs Blues game. Nevertheless I do expect our lads to be up for it too. Still in with a slim chance of making the play-offs so I expect that they will want to push the Blues and Ospreys all the way. The Blues don't have the kind of dominant pack that's undone us previously this season and ours has come a long way since the Ospreys and Leicester stuffed us. Tough one to call. One thing's for certain - I'll be down PYS Desperately hoping for a Scarlets home bonus point win and a surprise Aironi home win - miracles can happen!

Re: come on dragons
TBS miracles do happen, but ulster can scupper your dreams.
Have to say that WANTING another welsh region to lose is bad form.
Talking to a Munster fan on Thursday and he was right behind Leinster V toulouse, WHAT a game that was!
Oh, if only the Ospreys, or any other Welsh region, could play like that.

Ospreylian, nothing personal just hoping for a miracle to get the Scarlets into the play-offs. Now if only we'd won some of those close games

Re: come on dragons
TBS - If we beat the Blues, but fail to make the play-offs the main reasons will be 1) Martin Roberts dropping the ball over the line against Treviso lossing us 4pts, 2) The Leinster draw, 3) The two Ulster matches, 4) The Ospreys having their 4pt deduction overturned. We have improved on last season and can still improve on this season.

Re: come on dragons
SS dont go blaming various players for not getting to the playoffs.
Bottom line is that we can all say "if only" that's the nature of sport, and it's why we came back year after year.
Let's hope for more realism from all Welsh regions next year, recognise that our players are not quite as good as we;d like to think, work harder than ever to improve the talentsa we have and gain a few more.
Maybe, just maybe, we can then be like our Irish brethren, and actually BOOK our tickets to the Heineken final.

Re: come on dragons
Ospreylian - It was not meant to be singling out players to shoulder the blame. I am personally preoud of what the region have achieved on and off the feild this season. It was more there were some key moments/events that may have set us on the path to the play-off.
I think as a whole the regions have all done pretty well this season. The Scarlets have gone from being the second worst side in the league, to top six, and possibly (very slim chance) of making the play-offs. The Dragons have had a few poor showings on the road, but have really shown the rest of the league that they can not be taken lightly at home, and that they have a desire to play running rugby. The Blues have slipped up a little of late, but are still in with a health shot at the play-offs and their third throphy in three years. And even though the Ospreys have not seemed to produce to their expectations (which maybe are being set too high) they still have a fair crack at getting to the play-offs. And there is a fair chance (if the Blues and Dragons win) that there will be two welsh regions in the play-off and an all welsh final. So i think it is only a matter of time before we can start to get excited about the HC being claimed by a Welsh region.

SS
I'm not criticising, just pointing it out.
I too, like Maestegmafia thought that Cai Griffiths was rubbish, I would have happily seen my season ticket money go towards sending him back up north (or to the Scarlets), but his performances, 'til; the Munster game were really quite good.
Right now the hammer is cocked but the trigger lock is "on" prove us wrong Cai.
