Hilarious!
First time he raves about Bennett he butchers an opportunity by failing to spot his support on his shoulder! Second time he does some stupid hack and hands the ball straight back to Italy! Third time he manages to throw the ball forward with the line begging, and then finally he's in on the line and runs straight into the Italian fullback!!
He's like a combination of Morrison and De Luca

A bit concerning that Bennett is making all of these breaks and finishing none of them. Perhaps they need to assign either Hoyland or Hughes to be Bennetts wingman.

Knew you'd enjoy that, fES. Clearly as you suggest, the Messiah has absolutely no talent whatsoever

He does have talent. It takes a special player to be able to beat so many tacklers and still fail to score!
Joking aside, I did enjoy his flick pass off the right and he does have gas.
Don't think he's going to be a 12 though - certainly more suited to 13.
He just needs to get some sodding proper rugby. I do hope Glasgow can use him properly next season - perhaps as cover for Dunbar at 13 (assuming Horne is going to play 12). I don't think we need see anymore of McGuigan or Murchie at 13.

But Glasgow only have him until the end of the season, and I don't know if Clermont will be too keen to extend the arrangement, as the purpose was to get him professional-level game time and he hasn't had a single minute!
No disrespect to Stirling County but I doubt that's what he had in mind! He'd probably learn as much in Clermont under-23's. Of Clermon't current centres, Rougerie and King are both 32 now and Fofana is away with France a lot so I'd hope there would be opportunities there before long.
Neil McIlroy, Team Manager with Clermont Auvergne, said: “We are very happy that Mark has found a professional club that can give him the necessary game-time that he needs at this stage of his career.
“Despite his injury last year, his development has been such that we felt it was important that he found an opportunity to play top-level rugby, something that we were unable to provide this season.

We'll take him at Edinburgh. Scott and Bennett, might be a decent combination given game time and a chance to grow instead of bench warming at Clermont.

Pat, it is odd, and he certainly seems settled back in Glasgow reading between the lines of his Muppet - he'll obviously be busy with U20s for the next wee while, but after that? He needs some game time before going on the summer tour with the Scotland team!

Hope it's not a sign that he's fallen out with Townsend or isn't working hard enough in training or something

Ah. I knew there was a reason why Maxwell "SG" Evans was special :funnyExiledScot wrote:He does have talent. It takes a special player to be able to beat so many tacklers and still fail to score!
