32 teams in 32 days: Chicago Bears
Record: 10-6
Offensive Rank: 28th (Passing: 29th, Rushing: 20th)
Defensive Rank: 5th (Passing: 8th, Rushing: 8th)
What went right?
Brandon Marshall was a hit. Jennings, Tillman and Briggs made more plays than most offenses. Melton gave the Bears an interior presence.
What went wrong?
The Bears schedule didn't revolve around garbage teams the 2nd half of the year. Cutler regressed as a QB. OL sucked. Offense really couldnt do much until the defense made it a blowout.
Prospects for 2013?
Marc Trestman comes in as HC from the CFL to try and maximise Cutlers talent. The Bears window on defense appears to be closing fast, so while the Bears can compete now with a few breaks, a few good drafts are needed for them to keep pace in the NFC.
Projected 2013 Draft Pick?
Brian Urlacher appears set to walk in FA so the Bears could look to replace him. However the OL has been a running joke in Chicago for a few years, and Cutler isn't going to take the Bears anywhere without consistent protection. D.J Fluker gives the Bears a day 1 starter at RT that can hold his own in the NFC North.

Well T'eo went yesterday.
I just don't see the Bears neglecting the OL any longer.
I imagine they'll bring in a LT in FA and Fluker solidifies RT.

Well you see Bull, when I'm projecting picks for each team, I go by the assumption that the players I project for other teams are off the board.

How can you disagree with this? I admit the fact most (all?) say Fluker can only be a RT isn't great but it would at least give you somebody on your OL, it sucks and that doesn't help the fact that Cutler isn't a great QB.TheBrahmaBull wrote:dont agree with this i think the bears will go for Olgatree or may take the risk with Teo.
