32 teams in 32 days: Green Bay Packers
Record: 11-5
Offensive Rank: 13th (Passing: 9th, Rushing: 20th)
Defensive Rank: 11th (Passing: 11th, Rushing 17th)
What went well?
Aaron Rodgers. James Jones learned to catch, Randall Cobb made plays. Casey Heyward turned in a strong rookie year. Matthews made plays when he was on the field.
What went badly?
Receivers shuffled in and out of the lineup through injuries. Running game still sucks. Packers got beat up up front by physical teams. Replacement refs
Prospects for 2013?
Packers remain an elite team, but putting it together at the right time has eluded them the past 2 years. Staying healthy would help. Dom Capers can be considered on the hot seat after his defense regressed heavily from 2010.
Projected Draft pick?
Eddy Lacy could be a fit but a RB in the first seems very un-Ted Thompson like to me. Barrett Jones gives them an NFL-ready player who can slot into any of the interior OL positions day 1.

one of the many online drafts had the Pack picking Tyler Eifert, TE, which i guess could happen esp if Finley allowed to go

Which looks entirely likely considering his salary for the coming season and the fact that he'saalready refusing to take a pay cut.

Eifert was yesterday's pick. TE seems un-Ted Thompson also tbh

i would of thought that a big lump of a lineman (O or D) would be more likely for the Pack here, but potentially without Jennings, Driver and Finley, and no obvious running game, it could be a WR/TE/RB

Yeah, i'd possibly go interior line (i.e. C or LG as Sitton is good), DE or ILB in an ideal world.
I don't really see the need to go too high on a TE, though we should get one later (3rd/4th) to cover for Finley silly contract which kinda has to be dumped because of the re-do's needed for Rodgers and Matthews
