ROH 11th Anniversary show Results
The iPPV opened in Ring of Honor style with an unannounced "six-man mayhem" match between some of the brightest, young talent in the company. QT Marshall, Silus Young, Mike Sydal, Adam Page, ACH and Tadarius Thomas were the competitors in the match, all having recently competed in the Top Prospects tournament. ACH took his first big win in Ring of Honor by pinning Mike Sydal.
The next match for the 11th Anniversary iPPV saw SCUM (Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs) take on C&C Wrestling Factory (Cedric Alexander and Caprice Coleman) in a tag team match. The end came when Jacobs hit a devastating spike cradle piledriver on Alexander from the corner buckle. Both teams looked great and C&C was not hurt at all by this loss.
The next match was a big grudge match between Charlie Haas and BJ Whitmer. This feud has been brewing for months and at the last iPPV, Haas put Whitmer through a table, injuring his neck. Whitmer gained some revenge this time. The match was a brutal street fight with both men pulling out all the stops. The end came when the referee called for the bell after Whitmer delivered enough knee strikes to take Haas out.
The next match for the 11th Anniversary iPPV was a special event tag team match with The American Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) taking on one of Japan's top teams, Forever Hooligans (Rocky Romero and Alex Koslov). Richards and Romero used to be ROH tag champs as the No Remorse Corps. The match was as good as advertised, with both teams getting in a lot of offense. The Wolves won when Richards and Edwards hit the powerbomb/lung blower combo.
The first match after the intermission saw Michael Elgin and Roddy Strong fight in a 2-out-of-3-falls match. The two fought at "Final Battle" and Strong got the clean pin. Tonight's match started with Elgin just destroying Strong to start off for a quick first pinfall. Strong evened it up after one of his patented backbreakers. Elgin finally got his revenge on Strong by making Roddy tap out to the cross face for the third and deciding fall.
The next match is for the ROH TV title. Matt Hardy came out first and said that he wants his title shot and then went to the announcer's table. Adam Cole defended his TV title against Matt Taven, who won the Top Prospects tournament to earn this shot. Truth Martini now manages Taven, the two joining up after the Top Prospect tournament finals. In a shocking upset, Matt Taven won the TV title when Truth Martini hit Cole with the Book of Truth and Taven hit the Moonlight Drive for the three count. This also means that Matt Hardy's upcoming match with Cole won't be for the TV title.
The next match is for the ROH World Tag Team Championship. Mark and Jay Briscoe defends their title against the new tag team of reDRAgon (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly). In another surprising victory, reDRAgon beat the Briscoe Brothers thanks to Chasing the Dragon for the tag team belts, the second title change of the 11th Anniversary iPPV.
That brings up the main event of the iPPV as ROH World Champion Kevin Steen defends his title against Jay Lethal. Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs run in during the match, but it seems like Steen doesn't want them there. Steen ends up winning, despite a Jacobs' miscommunication by hitting El Generico's brainbuster onto the top turnbuckle. Steen remains the ROH World Champion.
After the main event, it is time for Steve Corino's promised destruction of Ring of Honor. Rhino and Jimmy Jacobs run in and attack Jay Lethal and the referee. The Briscoe Brothers and C&C Wrestling Factory run in to save Lethal, but then Jimmy Rave makes his ROH return with a SCUM shirt on.
BJ Whitmer and Rhett Titus run in to help, but then Titus turns on Whitmer and reveals his own SCUM shirt. Michael Elgin tries to help but Cliff Compton comes in with a SCUM shirt on and takes him out. The American Wolves try to help but get laid out as well. Adam Cole comes out, but Matt Hardy runs in with a SCUM shirt on. That brings out Steve Corino again.
It looks like, by the end of the Ring of Honor 11th Anniversary iPPV, SCUM is the new nWo.

Re: ROH 11th Anniversary show Results
Sounds like a decent show but with Jacobs, Cornio, Hardy, Titus and Compton they've grouped most of my least favorite members of the roster in one faction.
Still better than Aces & Eights though.
Also for anyone who reads this and may have an interest in Japanese wrestling Hiroshi Tanahashi is wrestling Prince Devitt which should be awesome.

Re: ROH 11th Anniversary show Results
Looks a decent show... I have no idea what's in-store for the rest of 2013, but it looks like the company could be on the verge of something potentially amazing, something we've not seen since 2010.
I have no idea what's in store for Kevin Steen, but from more reviews I've read and from the recent TV tapings he's either going to turn his back on SCUM or turn face. Question is who's next in line to face him for the title, Michael Elgin? Jay Lethal Gimmick Rematch?
Overall, very surprised to see Matt Taven as the new television champion, does this mean Adam Cole is on his way to WWE, or do they have something bigger and better for him planned? I have no idea why The Briscoe's have dropped the titles.... again! But very pleased to see Fish/O'Reilly now holding the titles...
Now the SCUM angle, Titus needed a change so this makes sense, he's also a better heel! The return of Jimmy Rave and the addition of Cliff Compton were good surprises, hate that Hardy's been thrown in there meaning he's going to be there longer! Overall, I think I need a little time to digest what's happened here, The TV Tapings are happening tonight so hopefully these questions will be asked and we can see where this ride is heading!
