O'Brian out of Italian test.
O'Brian has been forced onto the open, a position he hasn't been comfortable with. He freely admitted that his conduct hadn't been up to the standards expected of him. This comes close on the tail of the shock non retirement of Father Declan Kidney, the foremost cleric on the Emerald Isle. O'Brien said: "of course I am gutted to miss out on the Italy test, but more than anything I am disappointed to have left down the faithful Irish fans". Father Kidney meanwhile was unrepentant: "O'Brian has been rock hard, specialising in contact. His comments on gay marriage however mean that he has been targeted and his withdrawal is barely surprising given the way he has put himself about. The Vatican has launched a full enquiry, appointing the IRB disciplinary panel with a stern remit to get to the bottom of matters. In the meantime it would be inappropriate for O'Brian to be involved in the secretive conclave to appoint my successor..."

I heard he drowned. Police are calling it suspicious. He was last seen bobbing up and down on a buoy.

Wasn't O'Brien one of these players that is being talked about on another thread at the moment. He left his homeland to play abroad for better conditions, was naturalised and elected to play for Scotland instead?
I don't think Kidney gives a flyin'................ cassock about him, he has enough O'Briens to worry about. It's a spanner in the works for 'Scotty' Johnson though. O'Brien was one of his tight-head specialists......

Religion is a wonderful thing.Imagine the World without it.Not too bad really. There would still be weirdos and psychos but they wouldn't be claiming the moral high ground.Sounds good to me.

You're right...if we didn't have religion we'd have to settle for the BBC to get our depravity overlooked and excused fun.

I know, it's a way of satirising the Irish set up.
