Scotland U20 vs Wales U20
Scotland Under-20: Ruaridh Young (Edinburgh Accies), Damien Hoyland (Boroughmuir), Chris Auld (Gala), Mark Bennett (Glasgow Warriors), Rory Hughes (Scotland 7s / Stirling County), Tommy Allan (unattached), Ali Price (Bedford Blues), Shawn Muir (Hawick), Russell Anderson (Gala), D'arcy Rae (Ayr), Ruaridh Leishman (Stirling County), Jonny Gray (captain) (Glasgow Warriors / Currie), Alex Henderson (Boroughmuir), Will Bordill (Sale Sharks), Adam Ashe (Glasgow Warriors / Stirling County).
Replacements: Callum Black (Edinburgh Accies), Jamie Bhatti (Stirling County), Phil Cringle (Edinburgh Rugby / Stewart's-Melville FP), Cameron Turner (Aberdeen Grammar), Tommy Spinks (London Scottish), Scott Steele (Leicester Tigers), Robbie Fergusson (Ayr), Keith Buchan (Boroughmuir).
Wales Under-20: Jordan Williams (Scarlets/ Llanelli); Harry Robinson (Blues), Cory Allen (Blues / Cardiff), Steffan Hughes (Scarlets / Llanelli), Aaron Warren (Llandovery); Sam Davies (Ospreys / Swansea), Rhodri Williams (Scarlets/ Llandovery); Gareth Thomas (Scarlets / Carmarthen), Ethan Lewis (Blues / Cardiff), Nicky Thomas (Ospreys / Swansea), Carwyn Jones (Scarlets/ Carmarthen), Rhodri Hughes (Ospreys/ Swansea), Ellis Jenkins (capt, Blues / Cardiff), Daniel Thomas (Scarlets / Llanelli), Ieuan Jones (Dragons).
Replacements: Elliot Dee (Bedwas), Nicky Smith (Ospreys / Swansea), Dan Suter (Ospreys / Bridgend), Jack Jones (Ospreys / Rovigo), James Benjamin (Bedwas), Joshua Davies (Dragons / Bedwas), Jack Dixon (Dragons), Hallam Amos (Dragons).
Harry Robinson has come back in for Wales U20 to form part of a good attacking back 3. The back-row is the one I wanted to see from the start of the tournament; Jones is the big ball carrier with two fetchers either side of him. Dragons players Dixon and Amos come onto the bench. Sadly no Rhys Patchell who is injured but otherwise would have been available. So that leaves one weak link in this Wales team for Scotland to attack; Sam Davies.
Wales need a big win to still be within a shot of the title. Can they beat a Scotland team full of big units who are also in the hunt for the same title?

This should be a good game. I would expect this to be a close encounter. Is it on tv?

Patchell injured! Bugger!
They will need him if only for his goal kicking against England - but not sure what will happen now since he won't have had a chance to blend into the team/squad
Arggg, I was looking forward to see Patchell and Allen play together.

Gutted to hear this game is in Inverness. If I was in the UK, I'd have been all over it.
Should be a good one. Hope Ieuan Jones has a stormer.

I thought Sam Davies had been superb this year. Surprised that you consider him a week link.

He's a very good player. Hughes has been unimpressive but Allen and Dixon are good enough to deal with him, IMO.

I was only joking. Just winding up a couple of fellow Scots fans...
He is a very good player though, and a bit of a star at this level. If it's an open game he'll cause Wales problems. Wales though have a few handy broken play runners as well. Should be a good match.

Lee is too old
Who is tucker?
It will be good to see Dixon off the bench, him and Allen will form an excellent midfield ( would be a lot better playing off Patchell)

Lee is 20 I know as im his age and Reuben tucker has been through the ranks at the blues and Cardiff also capped at 16s 18s and I think he was capped at 20s last year he's same age as Ellis Jenkins

Right lads, KO is at 19:35 and it is being shown on S4C. I'm actually not sure whether or not it will be broadcast on Alba.

Evening All.
The match is live on S4C online for any of you in the UK who don't get S4C on the telly.
The weather seems a lot clearer too...well, you won't get the bogging swamp that was in Italy.
...some lovely singing from the Scottish lads...

Looks cold and windy but pitch looks hard enough for a decent game.
Few players I'm looking forward to seeing, Jenkins, both Williams and Thomas, all have impressed me in the last few weeks!

Lots of free kicks to Wales so far. Great dummy by the Welsh FB, but he doesn't quite make it over for a try and he's bundled into touch.

And we fluff a very good scoring opportunity, going blind but massively outnumbered by the defence

I don't think so, he just called him Ian, but Ianto's got a deeper, Welshier accent.

He mentioned being in munster last week with Sam Davies, and in the gym with Thomas.
It's an Osprey, but surely Ianto wouldn't have been in Munster but with wales... Ian who? Gough?

Ye he mentioned the Osprey 18's and Gough was there last season when we went up there, Gough and Sidoli spent the whole game laughing at each other, must be Gough.

Same old Wales U20, fluffing every opportunity they get! It's like they're trying too hard. And yes the ball carriers body angle aren't good.

Ian Gough (assuming it's him) sounds nothing like I'd expect. Must be putting his posh commentary voice on. He sounds a bit East Walian to me, and not as gruff and older as I thought he would.

The wind is with Scotland, I just noticed it on the touch judges flag, and there we go another pen for Scotland, and another.

Lord
I think the wind is swirling a bit because a few Welsh bombs have dropped behind scottish defenders who looked like they were under it, then a welsh kick went long, and the flags are now waving towardt eh welsh line... I'm confused!

Fair play to Goughy though, actually giving opinions on what tactics are happening and the positives and negatives. Then actually giving an opinion on what he thinks of it, he's impressing me so far!
