Two questions - edition 1 Deontay Wilder Empty Two questions - edition 1 Deontay Wilder

Post by Adam D Sun 10 Mar 2013, 7:12 pm

I thought I would put this thread up as a bit of fun.

If you could only ask two questions to a pro boxer, one funny, the other serious, what would they be?

So for the first edition of "Two Questions", lets say that you are interviewing Deontay Wilder.

Here are my two:

Funny Question - Does your hand hurt from hitting all those tomato cans?

Serious Question - Would you want to fight Tyson Fury at this stage of your career?

Carl Froch:

Can I have a go on your missus?

And I can't think of a funny one.

Do you realise that you look cumbersome when attempting the Ali shuffle?

Will you ever step up any time soon?

Why are you called the aunty, is it because your nephews and nieces think you lack balls?

When are you going to start your run towards the title?

As a matter of interest, would you consider either Prices or Furys current opposition a step up for Wilder? (ie Thompson or Cunningham?)

Funny question: Can you now admit that this 'fight' in the video below (due in no small part to you winding up daft, theatrical bolo punches and doing out of place Ali shuffles) was one of the most embarrassing spectacles in Heavyweight history, and were you worried for the lives of some ringside fans at 01:26 of the vid?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUlfI5VlZuY

Serious question: How many more fights do you want / need before you'd feel ready to take on Wladimir or Vitali in their backyard, assuming you don't want to simply wait until they've both retired before making your title move?

Your funny question is also serious. Does he realise how god awful his version of the Ali shuffle is. Why insult the Man?

Did you ever consider taking up acting like your father Gene?

If money wasn't a consideration, and you can only fight for one, which of the 4 recognised belts would you choose?

What do your earlobes taste like?

Are you a bastion for bald men everywhere, proving the inherent genetic superiority of the bald over the weak? If you grew hair would you punch like Malignaggi?

Your facial hair makes you look homosexual. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Yes, he's the American HW who was probably neck and neck with Seth Mitchell for most tiresomely bandwagonned fighter on the forum. It was this bullpoop namedropping of fighters people had only heard Teddy Atlas banging on about that caused me to start the now legendary Peter Jackson thread.

So at least some good came out of it.

1) Would you rather fight a real contender or drink a pint through Dusty Rhodes' pants?

2) Taking into account the slow pace of your career, would you consider moving to England and have Frank Warren promote for you?

Do you find it depressing that if you lived a dozen lifetimes, you'd never get to join them?

What is his favourite episode of HBO's "Girls"?

Ask if he likes Morcambe and Wise.

Are you connected to the moon?

Who is the best heavyweight in America? and if says himself just sigh audibly and say "Uhu, other than you..."
