Howley?
Where does Rob Howley go when Gatland returns? Does he just return to his old job?

Re: Howley?
Gatland will be honoured to work in the presence of Howley.
Was worth losing 8 on the bounce to get a record win over England.

Lets hope your team doesnt have the same attitude..." as long as we beat England" isnt gonna win you a world cup or regular beatings of the SH teams....

Re: Howley?
Howley will return to being understudy for now. Maybe if the Lions tour causes Wales problems upon Gats return, then Howely will replace him, if not he will just have to sit in the wings and await his turn.
To be honest I have been ashamed of the welsh public and press since Saturday. If you listen to the news or joe public, they made a big thing that we beat England and stopped tehm winning the Grand Slam, however they seem to overlook the fact that we have sucessful retained the 6 Nations Championship, which is something I can never remember them doing in my lifetime.

This is what Iwas asking. He has had a taste of success now, will he be able to become second fiddle again? Or will he expect to have a bigger imput.

I think he will be happy to drop back to second fiddle, and take the time to work on a few areas that he was lacking in, like press conferences etc, whilst not taking the full brunt of the press if/when we lose.

Re: Howley?
Howley will go back to his role as attack coach after the Lions tour, Mark jones will be back with the Scarlets.
10 games in charge, 6 consecutive losses, turned into 4 consecutive wins and retaining our Six Nations title shows the learning curve of both the coaches and the Squad minus Gatland.
This experience will be very good for all involved, particularly Howley. He was always a confidence player, now he seems to be a confidence coach.
