Going soft on tip-tackles
So I can see why it's illegal to turn someone upside down and drive them head first into the ground, but the yellow cards handed out in this weeks S15 for 'dangerous tackles' were ridiculous: The most ridiculous of all was Cobus Reinach's yellow against the Rebels. The guy he 'tip-tackled' landed feet first and then was pushed onto his bum, yet Reinach was carded because somewhere in the process he lifted the guy past the horizontal...Sure penalise a guy for a dangerous tackle but make sure it's dangerous first...
