Re: New Moon Arising
It looks like their development program is starting to work. I can remember going up to Eirias Park to watch my son play for the Dragons U18 team against the Gogledd Cymru boys in 2008. It really did seem like men against boys at the time and everyone from the Dragons was a bit disappointed that the final score was so close at 29-3, especially as the Scarlets had been up there a few weeks earlier and had won 75-0.
I thought I'd look up this year's scores. Both the Dragons U18s and the Scarlets U18s still won up there but now by only 20-17 and 20-16 respectively. They have thumped the Ospreys U18s 40-13 though, which I'm not sure says more about Gogledd Cymru's development than it does about the lack of investment in the future of the youth of Ospreylia!
