The Warriors - A tribute.
My brother watched this film and told me it was the best film he'd ever seen......Me I didn't want to watch anything gang related and always avoided it....
However one day I banged it on and it was one of the greatest low budget movies I'd ever seen............Great story...Interesting characters, great soundtrack and a great ending where the main characters walk off into the sunrise and you're dying to go with them and know what the future holds for them...........
Honestly for anyone who hasn't seen it...Watch it...You'll love it!!

Have been meaning to watch this film for years. Had a big impact on the American hip hop culture and spawned a host of inner city gang movies.

That is one of the greatest improvised lines in cinematic history. Come out to playayayay was not in the script.

Even my mom loved this film when we watched it on video back in the 80s.

I take it this film is not to be confused with "Bronx Warriors" which sucked
Also anyone seen "Once were Warriors"?

I´m not drunk. I'm happy.
Say that line every time I go out. It's the simple things.

Watched Warriors last weekend, not a classic but did enjoy it. The Baseball Furies had the potential to be top of the pile of cinema's most intimidating-looking villains until they got their @rses kicked by a couple of Warriors in the park.
@ DAVE667 - have watched Once Were Warriors quite a few times, brilliant film even if the acting is a bit suspect. The follow-up was poor though.

Classic. Inspired a lot of things in the Hip Hop world, most notably the video to D12 - Fight Music.
