admin deleting posts

why do admin feel the need to delete my posts? I spent 10 minutes writing a good column about my feelings towards the rock and it has been deleted because there was another thread that was similar to mine............why couldn't admin have just moved my thread instead of deleting it? I will be deleting my account soon if what I write on here just gets deleted if its too similar to something else
