I wonder ?

I was just thinking, looking at the first Lions game in Hong Kong, was this a canny ploy to call up players who are not too far away. As we all know there is another tour in the far east at the same time, and I wonder if Japan was chosen because Warren Gatland wants his call ups close at hand, I know the world is only a small place, but with Scotland in South Africa, England in Argentina and Ireland in North America all of a sudden Japan looks a lot closer to Australia or Hong Kong than the other countries. Perhpas a call up for James Hook or Ryan Jones then.
