Re: Season 5 Tactics
Week 6
Vs EGW (again)
Titanomachy Episode 6
The show opening video plays, flashing clips of the wrestlers showcasing their skills. The TWA logo flashes, followed by the Titanomachy logo. The video gives way to recap video of Clash of the Titans. The video shows Natalya’s double win, Tensai winning a TWA contract, John Cena’s victory over Kane, Kaientai taking the Gladiators championship and Sting’s successful defence of the Wor Horse title.
The video turns to a brown hue, before showing Rey Mysterio becoming the number one contender to the Icarus title. We’re shown Mr Fuji turning his back on Super Dragon costing him the Gideon’s Knot ladder match and the further altercation between Jushin Liger and Super Dragon that lead to Dean Ayass getting acid in his face. Finally we’re shown Rob Van Dam becoming the Gaia champion, beating Wade Barrett two falls to one and the brawl that came after the match. It shows Kane and Rey Mysterio coming to RVD’s aid and Rey turning his back on his friends.
We go live inside the Titan Dome, fire works go off all around the arena designating the beginning of the show. The camera pans around the arena showing all the fans, some still entering the building and finding their seats. The camera pans around to ringside. All the wrestlers are gathered around the ring with Bob Evans standing in the ring.
BE: Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my pleasure to welcome you all to episode six of Titanomachy. It is also with great sadness that I must inform you all that our Under Deputy Director of Internal Affairs, Dean Ayass is still recovering in hospital after the acid spill that took place at Clash of the Titans. The powers at bay have asked me to run the show in his stead. It has been a difficult week sorting through every…
Vince McMahon climbs in the ring with a microphone in his hand.
VKM: I am a Titan of a promoter in this industry, they should’ve asked me to do the job. In fact if you’re so over whelmed I’d be happy to take the responsibility of your hands.
BE: That’s nice of…
Mr Fuji climbs in the ring, a microphone in his hand too.
MF: If anyone should be running this show then it should be me.
VKM: What damn experience do you have?
MF: Frankly Vince, my boys have gold, that proves I’m better than you.
BE: Enough! I’m in charge for the time being. The reason they never went to either of you are obvious. Vince, you play favourites’ and Fuji, you and your boys caused the problem. Now both of you get out of the ring and let me finish so, we can get on with things.
Vince and Fuji stare at each other as they climb out of the ring.
BE: As I was saying, it has been difficult to sort through everything. This leads to my first order of business. Mr Del Rio, I see you standing around this ring, you placed you career on the line when you faced William Regal at Clash of the Titans and you losed. Therefore, as per the agreement to which you entered, you’re no longer employed here. Goodbye Alberto, please see yourself out.
Alberto Del Rio pushes his way out of the gathered wrestlers and leaves through the crowd. The camera follows him all the way up through the crowd.
BE: Secondly, Mr Henry. The idea you put to Dean will still go ahead, I have just about scrapped together enough cash. Therefore, next week will be declared Tag Team Warfare. Gregg, I have hired a permanent replacement to join you at commentary, he’ll be here next week also. As for dealing with the acid attack, I have been ordered to leave it alone until Dean returns. That’s it for now. The office door will always be open if you need to speak to me. Let’s get on with the show.
The wrestlers make their way out of the arena, all but Chyna, Natalya and Asari. The three women stare at each other from across the ring. Bob Evans remains in the ring, looking at the fiery hatred between the three women.
BE: Well, I guess we have our first match. Natalya, you’re a great competitor and at COTT, you defeated both of your former friends in separate matches. Right now, you will defend against both of them. Win and name your next challenger.
Natalya nods and grins, as do the other two women. Dean tosses the microphone out of the ring to a roadie. He then rolls out of the ring as a referee rolls in. As Bobs feet touch the ground the three women leap up on to the apron. Bob makes his way up the ramp as Mr Fuji runs down the ramp. Bob turns and watches Fuji jog down the ramp as he walks backward and through the curtain.
Match 1: Natalya Vs Chyna Vs Chapparita Asari w/Mr Fuji (Titanides)(Triple Threat)
• None of the three women trust any of the others so, we see no team ups, keeping the early stages in chaotic balance.
• Chyna sends Asari to the outside with a powerful suplex, Chyna turns her attentions Natalya.
• The two lock up, Chyna wins the lock up and whips Natalya in to the corner.
• Chyna takes a couple of step backward before handspringing her way into the corner.
• She looks for the handspring elbow but, nobody home as Natalya ducks out of the way.
• With Chyna in the corner, Natalya mounts her and delivers ten hard punches to the head.
• Natalya steps back out of the corner and is dropped by Asari, delivering springboard drop kick.
• Asari drops and elbow and locks in a arm bar, Natalya looks to tap out before Chyna makes the save.
• Chyna drags Asari to her feet and levels her with a pedigree, Natalya returns to her feet.
• From behind Natalya locks Chyna in the anvilizer, cobra clutch, forcing her to tap out.
Winner and still, Titanides champion – Natalya by submission 6:17
Natalya hoists her title above her head in celebration. Asari rolls out of the ring at Mr Fuji’s order, the two slowly walk up the ramp as Chyna gets to her feet. She and Natalya share a long stare down. The tension rises between the two women to fever pitch as they go toe to toe. Natalya raises her title in the air and Chyna pushes her. BE: Yes, the powers at bay have come to their decision about your involvement in the acid splash.
SD: And?

GL: On both account’s, I don’t know.

I offered to help him against Cena and Barrett but, he said no, that he didn’t want me getting involved because he didn’t want me getting hurt. Well Rob, as I showed at Clash of the Titans I can look after myself. I don’t need him or any of you. All I need to be a success is the master promoter himself and my abilities.

Titanomachy Episode 6

The video gives way to recap video of Clash of the Titans.
CR: Thank you Mr Regal, we look forward to your return to action.
Regal shakes the young ladies hand as the scene changes to somewhere else in the arena. Del Rio is lurking around a TV with a scowl on his face. Vince McMahon walks up behind him.
VKM: There you are, I’m glad you haven’t left the building yet. I have a job offer for you.
ABR: I’m not aloud to work for TWA any longer.
VKM: You’d be working for me, not TWA. Your contract obligations will be to me and no one else. Are you in?
Del Rio looks at Vince, contemplating the offer. Vince offers him his hand and Del Rio takes it. The scene fades as we return to ring side. Jushin Liger’s theme music plays as he and Fuji step out on to the stage. The two men accept the boos from the crowd before heading down the ramp. When they reach the bottom of the ramp, Liger jogs up the steps and lowers the ropes. Mr Fuji ascends the steps and climbs through the lowered rope.
GL: How are these two aloud to still be here?
BK: You heard Bob earlier, they’ll be dealt with in due time. Besides Liger has to defend his Icarus championship against Rey Mysterio.
GL: They spat acid into a man’s face. They should be arrested never mind fired.
BK: In due time Gregg, in due time.
GL: I’m not happy about this.
BK: What can you do? Let’s not forget that they’re not the only ones who did dastardly deeds at Clash of the Titans.
GL: Speaking of dastardly.
Rey Mysterio’s entrance music hits and he bursts on to the stage. The fans boo Rey for joining forces with McMahon. Del Rio steps out from behind the curtain and hand’s Rey a microphone. The two walk down the ramp with Del Rio walking two steps behind Rey.
RM: Shut up all of you. I owe none of you an explanation but, I’m going to give you one. The reason I turned on Rob and joined up with Vince is simple. Rob shunned me in favour of Kane.
With that said he throws the microphone to the floor and slides in the ring, he wastes no time leaping at Liger and unloading several hard rights. Fuji slithers out of the ring as the bell tolls.
Match 4: Jushin Liger Vs Rey Mysterio (Single)(Icarus)

• Liger looks at Del Rio threatening to put Fuji through the table, with the distraction, Rey rolls him with the tights for the five.
Winner and new Icarus champion – Rey Mysterio by five count 15:35
Rey Mysterio hugs the title and celebrates his ill gotten victory as we go backstage to the office that Evans is using. Bob frowns at the out come of the last match, as the Hurricane enters the room.
BE: Well, at least Super Dragon kept his word and didn’t interfere with the match. Now Hurricane what can I do for you?
TH: I want into Tag Wars next week.
BE: What? But you don’t have a partner.
TH: I will have by next week though.
BE: You get a partner by Tag Wars and you’re in.
TH: Awesome. Thank you Bob.
The Hurricane leaves the office and Bob returns to watching the show, as we go back to ringside. Cena and D’Lo are in the process of making their way to the ring with McMahon in toe. The make their way to the bottom of the ramp and enter the ring. The three men stand tall as they wait their opponents.
The stage explodes as Kane appears on the stage. He looks down at the three men, slowly he raises his hands above his head and brings them down again causing the ring posts to explode and the music to change to the Hurricanes. Kane looks around for the Hurricane. He raises his hands again and drops them, the ring posts explode again. Again Kane looks around for the Hurricane, Vince and co seem bemused at the idea that Hurricane has made a break for it.
Kane’s music begins to play again as he walks down the ramp. He stops half way and causes the ring posts to explode again, again the Hurricane’s music begins to play. This time however, Hurricane jumps over the barrier and Kane bursts forward towards the ring. As Kane slides into the ring, the Hurricane leaps on to the apron and springboards over the ropes on to D’Lo, as he and Cena swarm Kane.
Match 5: John Cena & D’Lo Brown Vs Kane and The Hurricane (Tag)
• Hurricane and D’Lo tumble out of the ring as the battle on the floor, Cena continues to punch Kane in the head.
• The ref pulls him away, allowing Kane to get to his feet, Cena burst towards Kane and is caught with a boot.
• Kane goes for a leg drop but, Cena rolls out of the way, the two men scramble back to their feet.
• They lock up centre of the ring, Cena whips Kane in to the corner, Cena charges in behind.
• He hits a closeline and tags in D’Lo, the two men whip Kane to the ropes, ho bounces off.
• As he comes back they go to flatjack him but, breaks out and chokeslams both men.
• He stumbles over to his corner and tags in the Hurricane, who takes to the top ropes.
• He leaps off and soars through the air, bringing a leg drop down on to both men.
• Hurricane throws Cena through the ropes and out of the ring, Hurricane stretches his arm behind him.
• As D’Lo gets back to his feet, Hurricane brings his hand forward and drops D’Lo with a hurrichoke slam and covers.
Winners – Hurricane and Kane by five count 7:24
Kane and the Hurricane celebrate in the ring. As Cena and D’Lo go to attack Vince calls them back and they obey. Kane looks out the ring at the three men leaving. He clearly suspects something. Kane grabs Hurricanes attention and points to the scene. Hurricane and Kane leave the ring as Audrey Marie makes her way towards the ring.
AM: Ladies and Gentlemen, it is now time for out main event. Rob Van Dam is set to defend his Gaia championship against Yokozuna. Introducing first, accompanied by Mr Fuji, Yokozuna.
Yokozuna's music begins to play, he steps through the curtain with Mr Fuji in toe. As they walk down the ramp Fuji throws salt in Yokozuna's wake. Yokozuna ascends the steel steps and climbs in the ring. Fuji walks around ringside throwing salt on the floor.
AM: And his opponent, he his the current, reigning Gaia champion and Mr TWA, Rob Van Dam.
RVD's music hits as he bursts through the curtains. The title proudly wrapped around his waist. Rob makes his way dow nthe ramp tapping the hands of the fans as he heads down the ramp. He leaps onto the apron and climbs in the ring. He lifts the belt above his head before, handing it over to the ref. The ref takes the belt and hands it to the waiting Audrey Marie and calls for the bell as she leaves.
Rob Van Dam Vs Yokozuna (Gaia)(Single)
• The early stages of the match are dominated by Yokozuna’s size advantage
• Every time RVD tried to gain momentum, Yokozuna would swat his attempts away.
• Yokozuna throws RVD into the corner but, RVD leaps up on to the top rope.
• He taunts and moonsaults backward into the waiting arms of Yokozuna, who drops him with a powerslam.
• Yokozuna climbs to second ropes and drops off, connecting with the banzai drop.
• With his weight on top of him RVD is unable to kick out, at the last second he reaches up and grabs the ropes.
• The ref counts to four before Yokozuna gets up, he drags RVD to his feet and out of nowhere RVD nails an enzeguri.
• Both men go down, Yokozuna falls face first on to the mat, as RVD slouches down in the corner.
• As Yokozuna gets back to his feet, RVD regains his composure and drop kicks him in the knee.
• Yokozuna goes down as RVD takes to the ropes for some rolling thunder, followed up by a frog splash for the win.
Winner and still Gaia champion – Rob Van Dam 19:59
RVD doesn’t have long to celebrate as the ring is swarmed by Kaientai, Jushin Liger and Tensai. The four men roll in the ring as Yokozuna floors RVD with a scoopslam. The five men lay several hard kicks in to RVD. Kane, the Hurricane and William Regal burst out of the curtain and make a bee line for the ring.
As they reach half way down the ramp, McMahons trope of Cena, Barrett, Rey, D’Lo and Del Rio jump them from behind stopping them from saving RVD. They continue on to the ring and slide right in. Both groups of men stand looking at each other and Fuji throws the title belt to Yokozuna. Who raises it above his head, Barrett looks at him and reaches up placing his hand on the title too.
The two men stare at each other. The tension boils over and all ten men start laying in to each other. As the dust clears Barrett is left standing alone. He picks the belt up off the floor and raises it above his head. McMahon smugly climbs in the ring. Fuji follows and the two men walk up to the centre of the ring. Fuji clubs Barrett with a lead pipe he was hiding and punches McMahon.
As Fuji stands alone in the ring, the ring mat is torn open and Super Dragon appears out of the hole. Fuji looks around at the carnage and gets on his knees begging. Dragon shakes his head and floors him with the curb stomp. Dragon picks up the belt, he looks at it and lays it on RVD’s waist before, walking off up the ramp as the show comes to an end.
