*NEW* v2 Boxing podcast with Peter "Kid Chocolate" Quillin
Welcome back to the v2Boxing podcast and as always you are all in for a treat.
On todays show, we are joined by the current WBO Middleweight champ who joined us live from Manhattan.
Most of you will be aware of Kid Chocolates credentials but for those who havent had the pleasure of seeing him in action, make sure to catch up with it once you have enjoyed the interview. Peter is fast becoming recognised as something of a knockout king, showing real power in both hands. In his last 3 fights alone, he has had his opponents down on the canvas a total of 11 times.
He is also responsible for retiring a former top p4p champion in Winky Wright before moving on to win the WBO middleweight belt.
During the interview, Kid Chocolate discussed his aspirations going forward and talked about his days sparring with Golovkin and Chavez Jr. Peter also showed a real knowledge of the current crop of British middleweight talent. He also talked about how he would be up for facing any of the champs whenever they wanted to. His comments about Martinez fighting in Argentina
were particularly interesting.
If you want to learn more about Kid Chocolate, he has recently released two TKO specials following the build up to his most recent fight - these are a great snapshot into his mindset and training routines:
TKO PT 1: https://youtu.be/St1vjfEZ0ZA
TKO PT 2: https://youtu.be/aFK0MmTirgE
All it leaves me to do is to thank Peter for taking part and to remind you all that you can follow Peter on Twitter at @KIDCHOCOLATE (https://twitter.com/KIDCHOCOLATE) and to remind you all to tune in next time for more exclusive interviews.

Anyone listened to this? Here came across quite well if not slightly reserved. Seemed to get annoyed when I asked him about travelling for a fight.

Thought he came across really well
Have to admit that I hate it when fighters talk about how there fighters and that there to fight and their managers etc make the fights. Is it so hard for them to say who they'd rather fight in a hypothetical situation without saying "anyone". If your asked who'd you rather fight GGG or JCC jr, and you say GGG doesn't mean you don't want to fight Chavez. I guess fighters have been told to say that
Got touchy over travelling as you said. US is the place to make money but he isn't a huge name yet so he'd make as much money over in the UK or Argentina
That said he's a smart bloke and obviously knows how the Showtime/HBO split will affect his opponents so we won't get a Rios situation where he called out Garcia and Matthysse when those fights will never happen. He seems pretty clued on about how he needed a win like Guerrero to get into a position to fight the guys he wants
All round very good interview but would improve if fighters would just open up a little more but their told what things not to say
