Paul Heyman (Raw Spoilers)

Paul Heyman is teasing some "#BreakingNews" for tonight's episode of Raw. Heyman tweeted the following:

"#BreakingNews ... @WWE #RAW A New #PaulHeymanGuy? @BrockLesnar @CMPunk"

Heyman then linked to an article on his HeymanHustle.com site, which reads:

"It appears as though WWE needs to brace itself. Following Brock Lesnar's epic victory over Triple H at Extreme Rules, our very own Hustler De Tuti Hustlers Paul Heyman is set to make history ... AGAIN!"

"WWE is about to get a little more EXTREME! Our boss, the Hustler De Tuti Huslters Paul Heyman is keeping quiet on this for the moment, but it appears as though we're about to be introduced to Brock Lesnar and CM Punk's new stablemate!"

It's a bit of an anticlimax isn't it? I'm not sure who I'd rather have come out, but you were asking for him to get a non-reaction by revealing it to be Michael McGillicutty who is horrendously bland.

I also have a feeling it's a little more forced than the natural relationship between Heyman and Punk/Lesnar. This seems to be a creative forced move rather than Punk and Lesnar genuinely enjoying working with Heyman.

I wouldn’t judge so soon Crimey, the poor guy is being written off before he’s even started. When Ambrose, Rollins & Reigns debuted at Survivor Series a lot of people were sceptical and when their name was revealed as The Shield it raised eyebrows. Look at them now, best thing since sliced bread. I’m not saying McGillicunty is going to be as successful as The Shield but if he is bland then its the right move by WWE to pair him with Heyman. HHH and The Rock are apparently both really high on him so he must have something going for him, hopefully Heyman can help him fulfil his apparent potential. Will he be as big as Punk & Lesnar? Probably not. But it beats jobbing on Superstars to Sin Cara.

Yeah, but WWE didn't have the main angle of a show be based on somebody debuting and then have The Shield come out. That would have been dreadful. They built it up, and so it was a huge anticlimax when he came out. If say he had debuted at Extreme Rules and helped Lesnar and Heyman, that would have been a much better introduction.

I'm not so sure. It would make Lesnar look weak not being able to beat HHH on his own. He'd also firmly be in Lesnar's shadow if he shared a ring with him. I liked his introduction, it was all about Axel in his own right which is the way it should be. I didnt like the finish to the actual match though, it was all about HHH rather than Axel although i'm sure next week Heyman will champion Axel as the man who made HHH quit on his chair.

That was the best Raw since the night after Mania. I thought it was decent.

The Opening promo from Ryback was decent. He seems to be improving on the mic by the week. Good start to the build up for there match at Payback.

The 6 man tag match was a superb match. Better than any match at Extreme Rules last night. Really am interested to see where WWE takes these superstars now.

Big E Langston beating Del Rio was a bit of a shock. Really didn't expect it to happen.

Best part of the night Layla grabbing AJ's ass. Starting to find AJ pretty fit now.

Finally the Paul Heyman Guy. I was a bit disappointed when it was announced as i have never been impressed with the guy. I always preferred Husky Harris. But it will be very interesting to see where these 2 guys go. I wonder what is going to happen to HHH, ill imagine that was just a way to right him off. I did crack up when HHH slapped him round the face, i must admit!

Did anyone else notice Titus oneill drop an f bomb during his match.

Seriously impressed with Titus in what appeared a very stiff match. Whew us looked ungainly at times.

Didnt notice that till I rewatched, I like! The song afterwards is new too. A few months after he changed it. Odd, works though, nice little start impact and you know exactly who it is. Where was Raw last night? I know it was Victoria Day in Canada on the 20th but guessing this isnt a link.

I actually think I enjoyed pretty much every aspect of that Raw.

It was in Kansas City.

Just watched his debut, love that his entrance music is a remix of Mr Perfects theme. Nice Touch.

yea I thought so, but it was just the fact that Heyman and Curtis Hennig didnt contuinue the assult while he was like that.. meh. lets hope he doesnt turn into a jobber. Master Perfect is better than that!

I noticed that too, thought the remix was a great touch. Does he use the perfect plex as a finisher?

was it just me but on the stage screen (the part where Ryback and Cena went through) it seemed to say Curt Axel, but he was introduced as Curtis Axel.

He used to use the perfect plex in OVW/NXT etc. but had been doing that weird neckbreaker when was called up to roster

Apparently, just the day before he was going to be called just Curt Axel, but they changed it last minute but didn't have time to change the titantron.

i assume theyll eventually change his video to curtis though?
