boxing gyms in london
Hi guys,
I am interested in starting up boxing. I have never trained in boxing before but trained in mma for many years.
Does anyone know of any good boxing gyms in london, preferably west london.

Surely If you're that interested you'd look up on the internet your nearest gym...and check it out??..
Pm Jabby .......He'll know and he might be able to put some decent sparring your way also.

I would suggest keeping away from Boxing if you're Ex-MMA, they don't mix well at a base level if I'm honest from what I've seen.
If you are serious, type in "boxing gyms London" into Google and have a look around, make a few calls see if you like what you hear

Everything you need....

For history you'd be hard pushed to look past Repton Boys (but you'd have to travel).
You can't go for fitness; it's a fighting club.

Re: boxing gyms in london
Has anyone here been to the Ring boxing club by Southwark station?
I have looked at it online and I'm thinking of going.
If anyone's been it would be good to know what you thought of it.

thats the one I posted a link to above.
I went there when I was getting involved in a charity white collar boxing event. A good set up and nice people but I dont know how it compares to other places in London.

Definitley Champagne,
I wont be going until I get back from my holiday so that I can try and get in to a good rhythm with it, wont be back from it until about mid July but id be up for heading down there for sure.

Re: boxing gyms in london
St Pancras was always excellent - as the name doesn't suggest, it's actually up in Kentish Town, some distance from its station namesake. It's about equidistant from Chalk Farm and Kentish Town tubes (next to Kentish Town west), and certainly used to be incredibly welcoming to newcomers. As a newbie, I think it'll cost you about a fiver for a two-hour session, but if it's as good as I remember it, that would be a bargain.
