Arsene Wenger made an interesting comment the other day when he said there is more money than talent in the game at the moment. Which means fewer top players chasing the the biggest wages at the top clubs and even average players making a lot of money.

Hes right, there are far too many players dubbed the next Maradona/Messi, Pele, Ronaldinho, Shearer, Adams, Zidane etc

Neymar has just signed for Barca for a huge fee based on nothing but hype, when the game gets physical he cant handle it

136 goals in 225 games for Santos & 20 goals in 32 games for Brazil at International level.

Look, like me, I agree he is very over-rated from what I've seen and I think it's an element of desperation to hurry this deal through by Barcelona but don't just write the lad off before he's even stepped foot in European Leagues and actually showcased what he can do. It's exciting to see him come to Europe and play in these league and in the Champions League, you never know he may be incredibly good and worthy of the price tag. Let's just wait and see.....

Neymar will look like a world beater for a couple of years then become complacent, pile on the pounds and join a Milan club before drifting back to his homeland to finish off his career.

Isn't that what Brazilian footballers do?

Ironic statement from a typical French socialist who's created a wage structure that over-pays younger/poorer players and under-pays actual star players (for the short period Arsenal have them before selling them on).

3-4 years ago arsenal had the 3rd highest wage bill in the country despite kit having anyone on more than 50k a week and garbage like Denison on 20k+.

He's had a load of money to spend and tried to invest it by paying 16/17 year olds 15k a week in London instead of buying good players and paying them a competitive salary.
