Who will attend any RWC 2015 matches?
Thought I might ask a question: who among the 606 following will be attending the 2015 RWC? As most of you are based in or around the UK how many of you will be attending the games and when do tickets go on sale? I was speaking to a Kiwi mate in Dubai the other day and we've locked it in Eddie. Which games do you think you'll attend?

If I can get tickets I'll go to all the games I can afford. Hopefully I'll get to Wale's games, if not I'll watch whoever plays in Glos etc

I will try to get to one of the games, probably in Glaws, and hopefully a game where it is two lower level teams playing (Namibia/Fiji/Japan etc). That way I can take my misses and kids to the game and make a long weekend (or long mid-week or whatever) out of it.

It's unlikely that I'll attend any. Went to plenty in 2011 so missing out this time is fine

world cup games never seem to generate the same atmos as Lions tours - i don't know why, and i haven't been to a final, but i rather save my wedge the Lions

As many as possible really. Living in London, 3 venues are quite easy to get to and MK is not that far either.

Hopefully! I'll actually have a job by that point so I won't be broke all the time for a change. Maybe a Scotland game or two...

I hope to go to some if I can scam some tickets. Hopefully the Irish will lend a steer as to how best to go about it.

Re: Who will attend any RWC 2015 matches?
I will definitely going to at least a couple of RWC games while they are so accessible!
Ideally would like to go see a pair of Scotland games(maybe more if we do well!) and then another couple of games with other nations facing off against each other.
Be nice to go to Twickenham, but might not be easy!

I will attend as many matches as I can get tickets for, in as many different grounds as possible.

Would love to get a camper van, rock up in Hollyhead and take in all the Ireland games, tickets or not. Would be epic.

Was hoping some enlightened soul could explain when the tickets go on sale and whether it's different if you're an overseas resident.

I'll be going as hopefully I'll actually have some money by that point, although getting time off work may be more of an issue!
Thinking a Scotland game in St James followed by one of the Irish games in London, probably the NZ and Italy games... Then just hope I can get another game in somewhere!

Kia I think the best way to find out is to sign up to the RWC newsletter... That's how they're keeping people informed at the minute as they haven't released any info on tickets/prices yet. I'd imagine it won't matter if you're an overseas resident as they'll be sold through Ticketmaster!

Cheers ulsterman. I seem to recall that for the November tests kiwi expatriates were entitled to dibs for tickets before they went on sale in NZ. Just curious to know if there's something similar. Will check out this newsletter though.

As an aside Kia, the provider of November tests to expats has changed this year (the NZRU has brought it in-house). So for those you need to register for info via http://www.allblacks.com/ticketingregistration

To answer the title question, I will attend as many as I can afford/ can get away with before bathlady_in_london has a go at me...

Same as you Bathman. Will do as many as possible if wife allows (and even if she doesn't) Will try to do Glos and Exeter especially and take my boy. Its a shame they are not using Ashton Gate as I was there in 99 when NZ played Tonga. Cracking atmosphere when they lined up for their haka's.
Was a bizarre sight to see the closest pub to the ground filled with people in black shirts rather than the red of city.
